The workers could not speak English, which often caused communication problems, and the foreman was missing a great deal of the time. The job took 3 times as long as estimated. Although the work was finished as specified, there were mistakes that had to be corrected, which added to the time and stress of the construction job. We experienced permit problems with the City regarding unfinished and uncorrected work. There was minimal attention given to cleaning and carrying off debris.
