SWEET DREAMS CAKERY

My boyfriend and I were throwing a "Gender Reveal" party for our baby boy, due July 24, 2014. A family member had volunteered to pay for cupcakes and all we needed to do was tell her what we wanted. Easy enough, right? The owner called us and we described the style of cupcakes we wanted and made sure it was doable. I didn't think we had asked for too much, we wanted each cupcake to have the words "Boy" and "Girl" on top with question marks in between. The day of before the party our family member picked up the cupcakes and sent me a picture. At first glance I thought they were fine, but when they were finally delivered to my house I was completely disappointed. They were a sloppy, unfinished, rushed, mess! Half of the cupcakes that had the word "boy" were written in fondant and the other half in just icing, like they ran out of time. The same happened with the word "girl". She had decided to put little icing bubbles around the edges of the cupcakes and they looked rushed. Some had huge gaps, the sizes were all different, some weren't even bubbles, they were long and skinny. Needless to say, it looked as though our order of cupcakes was either forgotten about until the last second or was an order she should have never taken on. I have seen some of the work she has done and I expected great things, but these were sloppy and unprofessional. I would like to post pictures but I am unaware of how to do so.
