Overall, I could understand the problem because they had hired 5 extra (untrained) drivers that day to make up for the Valentine's Day volume and also had extra people creating the arrangements. She had to keep reminding them to count the flowers. Maybe one could only count to 11?? I was satisfied that it was a regular human error.
Description of Work: Update: 2/19/12: I did not have to take it back. When I telephoned them to tell them about the bouquet, they apologized and had another arrangement out the next day--with a few added embellishments. That meant a lot to me. I will use them again...but maybe not on Valentine's day? ****** We have used Thoughtful Flower for years, because their quality used to be superior to all other florists in the area. Once my husband starts using a company, he never changes. About 2 years ago I received a bouquet for my birthday (September) and the flowers were badly wilted. Not fresh flowers. I took it back to the florist (how crazy is this?)--and they gave me another bouquet. Somehow, having the person who receives the gift take it back because it's flawed is distasteful. This week, Valentines Day, he ordered a dozen red roses for me. I got 10-1/2 One was broken in half and stuck into the vase. There were only 11 roses, not 12. The vase was nice, though, and the ribbon. The arrangement was nice, but their delivery person must have knocked it over or something... and whoever put the roses in could only count to 11?? I haven't contacted them yet.

Response from Thoughtful Flower
I am terribly sorry that you had a less then stellar experience at a holiday time. Although it is true we do bring on extra staff at the holidays, some of which arent as skilled in the trade as we would like, we would never want a customer to be unhappy or unsatisfied. Thank you so much for calling this error to our attention, we appreciate your comments and continued support. Sincerely, Alicia
