Air conditioning went out on one of the hottest days of the week. I called this company and they gave me a window of 1 PM to 3 PM. Amir arrived very promptly at 1 o'clock. He figured the problem out very quickly and get the job professionally. Amir is very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

I left a message for Amir on Saturday, but he wasn't able to return my phone call to Saturday evening. I thought I would have to wait until Monday to have our heating unit looked at, but Amir was more than willing to come by on Sunday morning. Amir was very professional and explained in detail about the condition of our unit and what he would recommend. He was extremely attentive to my questions and at no point did I feel like he was trying to rip me off or push a sale on me. Amir even stated about how costs will change later this year as California's new requirements for Heating and Cooling units kicks in. While we didn't need any repair (or replacement) work done today, I would definitely contact Amir when we do require that work!

We had some noise coming from our heating unit at the end of every heating cycle and wanted to have this checked out to make sure it wasn't a major issue. We contacted Heating Cooling & Beyond Inc. and got an appointment scheduled the same day. Amir came in on time as scheduled. He was quick to diagnose the issue (which turned out to be a very minor issue) and fixed it. He was polite and professional. The entire service call from scheduling to the actual work done was quick and went smooth.

The provider showed up on time. Performed the service. He found that the flame sensor had carbon build up and that the drain line has no p-trap and galvanized pipe is building carbon. The condenser and evaporator coil are clogged and the blower and return are dirty. So they recommended deep cleaning the unit which entailed: Removal of the flame sensor cleaning and re-installing it, installation of a new p-trap, removal of the old galvanized pipe and installing a new pvc pipe, washing the condenser coil with acid, cleaning the surrounding areas in the condenser and cleaning the return air, cleaning the evaporator coil, removal and blower, clean it and re-install it. And, vacuum the return compartment. Then checking the overall system's operation. The offered an Angie's list 10% discount, so the total additional estimate was for $800. I didn't do this service yet. Does this sound like a reasonable estimate to anyone familiar with this?

Doesnt remember how many guys because he was not home for the cleaning. They did a great job of cleaning the duct work in the house. Would recomment service to friends and family

They did a great job, however I called them back on another issue they returned my call however the company they referred me to never returned my call. UPDATE: This inspection potentially saved me thousands. I was told that my A.C. unit was working very hard to pump air, and was advised to change filter type. Three weeks later I had a new roof, and partially due to the pumping air comments and leaks around the unit, I agree to have my A.C. unit taken off the roof and then replaced to insure no future leaks. I was told by the AC dealer that the unit had been installed totally wrong. I bought the unit ten years ago from Crane. The shocking results: *Two rafters had been cut to install a vent, and no support was installed. The potential for disaster was obvious. *The electrical was inside (should be outside) the support, and could have shorted out….destroying the unit, and even a fire danger *The unit was installed too low (pumping too hard) *Several support parts were not replaced ten years ago. They were probably 20 years old, rusted, bent ,etc. All has now been repaired. NOTE: I have had the unit check annually and no one else ever said a word. THANK YOU HEATING COOLING AND BEYOND!!!!!!

The arrived on time, were friendly and knowledgeable, and examined what neede to be done so they could return later with the proper tools (the return visit was for the full 2 hours, so the preliminary visit was separate with no additional charge). They arrived on time at the later scheduled time that day and fixed everything, and cleaned up completely. I'd definitely use them again. The recessed light eventually died again. This has been happening with every electrician I've had over the past 5 years. I'm going to call these folks again to see what they can do to resolve the issue completely.

Amir and his crew were professional, efficient, and personable. He gave me a reasonable estimate and when I asked for one, gave me an Angie's list discount. They replaced my entire heating unit the very next day and, when one worker accidentally broke a skylight, Amir quickly replaced it. When the one he replaced it with was to opaque for my taste, he changed it to a clear one without a complaint. Very efficient and very professional.

Scheduled maintenance work on the air conditioning after their check. Repair costs were extremely reasonable and I highly recommend them.

It was great. It was really good. I finally had them in. I had to reschedule a bunch of times because of my work schedule but they were really great. They gave me a lot more feedback than the first people that I brought in. They were awesome. They were prompt and gave me just a ton of options how to get my unit fixed and really explained everything in detail. They were very helpful. They were extremely professional. I thought they were very responsible.

We've been recently concerned with our air quality due to a 'smoky' smell that we've noticed recently while our heater was running (we have a small child so our concerns are heightened). We found Heating, Cooling and Beyond through Angie's List and could not be happier with the recommendation. Amir arrived on time, patiently inquired on our concerns and performed a full assessment of our HVAC unit. In fact, he stayed longer than needed so that both my husband and I could hear the recommendations (my husband was on a work call). Through the whole process, Amir was professional and made sure that we understood the root cause of our issues and possible fixes. When we do decide which route we should take (a short term vs long term solution), we will be calling them back to perform the work. Thank you Amir :)

It started out fine, but then it started to go south rather quickly. After the new AC was installed I discover that they left out bits and pieces and things had to be fixed according to the inspector. When I asked them to fix it, they told me nothing was wrong. After going back and forth with the company at least three times, the city inspector called the company and they came out to fix the problem.

Taped the doors on the heating system closed to restore power to the thermostat. Everything works perfect. Thanks Amir

We used this one too, we had a big deal coupon. It was a very short service. But I was happy with them. There was not complaint, it wasn't anything extensive like the other ones.

Amir came out and went up and examined the duct. He indicated that the ducts may be inadequate for the size of the furnace, and suggested some remedies for that. He seemed very professional and helpful.

Great Job! On time, very polite and explained everything. Answered all my questions, made recommendations. Offered to help change my air filter as I had replacements at no additional cost. Anyone who needs any work done on an HVAC system should definitely give Heating, Cooling, and Beyond a call!

Inspection was very thorough and a number of issues were pointed out. Filter was good so did not change. UV light was burned but the tech recommended not changing it. He recommended a number of improvements and said that I would receive an e-mail summary and estimate from the company. I never received any follow up e-mail or contact. Not a bad experience; just kind of left a dangling.

We purchased the big deal coupon for this service. The deal was for central air conditioning inspection and tune up, but nothing was really done. His responsiveness was pretty good. He was here when he was supposed to be. We’re not sure if we would use him again.

Determined that we needed some safety issues taken care of which we plan to do in the future WITH this provider..... Also, he gave a "bid" on some potential duct work which I had requested for proper air flow throughout house. Would probably use this provider for this also, although it was an expensive undertaking... He was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't push any additional services. He did "above and beyond" the amount that we paid for the service call, even getting tape and fixing one of the safety issues for no charge. I WOULD DEFINETLY USE THIS PROVIDER AGAIN and have saved his business card to call soon. Thx!! :)

It worked well. They did the repairs and the price was right. I think the work was professionally done. Other businesses quoted a whole system replacement that we did not need.

During the tune they discovered some problems. They provided a reasonable bid, but we decided to go with someone else.

The techs were on time and very courteous. They explained what they were doing and answered all of my questions.
