When this company says and beyond, they really mean it! The service was unbelievable! Amir did his best to accommodate our schedules. This is a far cry from those who act like they are doing a favor to even show up. He was precise, honestly curious about the problem solving process, and offered multiple creative options for solutions. As you all know, referring someone is always a dicey proposition. You always cross your fingers that no bad news gets back to you from a friend or relative that you have referred someone to. I have absolutely no hesitation in referring Amir and his company to friends, or relatives! I felt completely comfortable with Amir on both a professional and personal level. Use him!

Got a same-day appointment even though I called late in the day. He arrived right on time, and immediately started methodically checking and testing the furnace. It wasn't the first most-likely cause, or the second, but he stuck with it and was very thorough until he found the problem - and got it working good as new. I'm sure most others would have given up and recommended replacing one expensive part or another without checking so thoroughly. Amir is clearly a true and dedicated professional and working with him is a pleasure. He found and fixed the problem so we didn't have to go another night without heat. We couldn't be any happier.

Service was prompt and fast. There were some minor issues due to some unforeseen problems in the attic, but after speaking to Jamie in the front office these things were resolved quickly and professionally to my complete satisfaction. I will be using HC&B in the future.

I've been trying to figure out what to do about my cooling needs based on both my budget and the shape of my AC unit. I had met with Amir and a couple of other contractors before trying to figure out what was best for me at this time. I finally decided to replace my ducts because they were about 40 years old and in talking with Amir and other contractors, they had mentioned that I probably have significant leakage in my ducts and that the ducts were unhealthy. I was thinking about replacing my furnace and condenser unit, but decided against that because my furnace was relatively new, maybe about 5 years old and my condenser, while being old, was still functioning fine. Even though it probably functions around a 7 SEER. Replacing those two items would have been more of a decision based on want, and not need. So I decided against that. When I met with Amir next week again to basically find someone to replace my ducts. I explained my situation. In discussing the options with Amir, we were able to agree on a price and service and he seemed very willing to do what he could to get my business, and even gave me a nice discount on work performed. I had mentioned to him that I needed the work done early this week, even though he wanted to do it on a Thursday. He was able to shuffle things around and accomodate me. On the day of the job, he and his men showed up on time. I hardly noticed his men were there. I had shut the front door, because I had cats and was worried that one might run out during the work, and they seemed to respect my desire to keep the door shut, which was much appreciated, especially since I didn't have to bring that up. His men were nice and courteous. I was on crutches the day of the job, but they made sure they weren't in my way when I had to walk around the house on crutches, and tried to be helpful as I was moving around the house, where they could be. I've only had the ducts in for one day, so my feelings might change in the future. But right now I have noticed a significant increased in comfort with the ducts and the cold air coming in.

I spoke with the company and they said they don't service my area. I would rate this deal and "F" because it was offered to me but the company states that it is outside of my area.

I called this company after doing insulation here and feel comfortable dealing with them personally and professionally. Any questions and concerns I had ( I'm originally a New Yorker!) were dealt with politely and swiftly). They wore booties in certain areas so I wouldn't have so much cleaning to do and put down drop cloths and treated me and my house respectfully. AND they know what they are doing and do a great job. Now I'm going to relax in my cool house . :)

We had a non-heating hvac unit in the bedroom areas during the hottest week of summer (90+), and in addition had a nonfunctional new digital/wifi thermostat on a second main living area air conditioning unit that the electrician could not make function. Amir came within 24 hours of my call, was early, quick, and through. He troubleshooted both issues, had the thermostat up and working (by changing a blown something in the furnace) and cooling within 20 min and then quickly solved the issue with the non-cooling unit - no refrigerant due a leak somewhere. Since the unit is under home warranty (old home, new to us) he advised me how to handle the warranty so we were treated fairly by the home warranty company. He also took the time advised me on a couple other ducting/venting issues I had noticed in our home inspection report (that I had not mentioned during the service call request - I've had other companies refuse to discuss second issues even when already present, and insist on a second call). Price was totally reasonable and service was excellent. Would definitely use again.

It was okay. I did a little more research and found some other person with a lower price for the complete replacement of the unit. He came out on time and did his thing. He came out within a day or two after I purchased the big deal. There were no additional charges. He was knowledgeable. I had no problem with what he said. It was the owner of the company who came out. The quality was fine.

Amir and his team were very professional and hard-working. 3 and sometimes 4 men at a time were working, and the job was completed in one day.

I chose Beyond because of it's A rating and the positive reviews on Angies list and they were in our area. They were completely booked for that day but would come out that evening for an extra fee. I told them next day would be fine. They gave me a two hour window and called the day of the appointment to tell me exactly when Amir would be there. He showed up on time, was friendly, professional and diagnosed the problem quickly. He checked the unit and the attic and the insulation. I told him everything the previous HVAC man said he would do, and Amir gave me a lower price by a couple of hundred dollars. Said he could order the part and get it installed in 2-3 days. We shook hands on the roof, he threw in a new all natural fiber filter for free and he left. I thought I was going to bake for the next 3 days but got a couple of hours later I got a call from their office that said he had found the motor that would fit my 30 year old unit in Culver City and could be back in a few hours to install it. And sure enough did exactly that. He even strapped in an old part,installed a new more efficient capacitor, and guaranteed his work for a year and said if anything went wrong and we wanted to install a new unit, he could discount the price of the work he just did. I am very happy with the service. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and MORE without be asked , and earlier than promised and for the same much lower price. He even offered insulation advice. I know my Old Day and Night won't last forever, and when it does finally give up Heating Cooling and Beyond will be the first place I call. I never write reviews but I was so impressed I was happy to write it.

Amir came out on a Sunday (yes, a Sunday!) to look at my system that was doing a very poor job of cooling my upstairs. He looked at everything, even crawled around a very hot attic, and recommended several options at different price points. Cheaper option of replacing duct work, but keeping the original 25 year old equipment. More expensive, but most effective, option of replacing everything with a new, more efficient system and adding more supply vents. Amir was prompt, professional, and courteous. I really like that he didn't try to up-sell a complete system replacement right off the bat. Highly recommended.

Amir is fantastic. Solved major problems in a 90-year-old house; returned twice for minor adjustments; easy to reach, a true professional with a great crew, and a total pleasure to work with.

They were very nice.. Told me all my air ducts were bad and needed replacing at some point. My only concern was that all the previous companies who've come out for maintenance did not tell me that.

My air conditioning went out last night so I looked up a few providers with great reviews to call first thing in the morning. There's a heat wave going on right now, so I was bracing myself for having to wait a long time to get someone out. Heating Cooling & Beyond opened the earliest and said they could squeeze me in today because they were in the area. Came to my door within two hours and very quickly diagnosed the problem, a blown fuse. Including replacing the fuse and waiting for me to write him a check, he was in my house for less than 15 minutes. He was courteous and professional and even answered my DIYer questions with patience and clarity. They offered a Buy It Now coupon for $29 diagnosis/30-min of labor. They arrived at my house so quickly they said the system might now process it quickly enough, so they just honored that price when they wrote up the invoice. Amir (the owner and technician who came to my house) also offered more advice on simple things I can do to prevent this from happening again. I couldn't be happier with this experience, start to finish.

I had some questionable work done on my heating / AC, and I needed someone honest to come and look at the work done and give me an assessment. Amir had a lot of good information and suggestions, plus his quotes on the work were very fair. Before you do any duct work, heating or AC, talk to Amir. He is really a lovely person. Thanks again

Amir did a great job finding the problem. He suggest we call the company that originally did the work. He told us if the original company doesn't stand behind their work, he would be happy to fix the problem for us and gave us an estimate on fixing the problem. We will definitely use him again.

I called this company to schedule regular maintenance on three units and because there was an unusual hot spell in May and one of my air conditioners wasn't working. I was very appreciative that they could get somebody to my house that same day. They told me they would have to call me back to schedule the regular service but they could send somebody out for the one that wasn't working. Amir came and diagnosed the problem. He said I need a new air conditioner but he was able to do a temporary fix. I gave him the go ahead to do the fix. He did the work. He was here for less than an hour. Told me somebody from the company would contact me to schedule the service on the other units and give me a bid for the new unit. I never heard back from anybody. I know I can easily make a call, but for me initiative is an important sign of good service. I have since gotten two other bids for a new air conditioner and found a much lower price for the regular maintenance on my other units. I would call this company again, but probably only in a pinch.

He did a very good job and was very efficient and gave us a really good price. He did what he said he was going to do. He was prompt and on time and very professional. We've used him before and will continue to use him in the future. He also installed a remote control thermostat for me that I was very pleased with.

The worker was on time, polite, efficient, and thorough. I've used this company several times and never had a complaint!

Amir ( His company) nice, honest guy. So are his employees. Cleaned up, suggested things I needed ( rather than try to upsell). There was a mishap, but handled immediately and beautifully. It's when something goes wrong that you see how honorable people are. Looks like they did a great job. I'll report back on how Ir conditioning works when it gets hot again!
