) I bid out the job with 4-5 different people. Some of the people didn't make the right diagnosis of the problem to begin with. Amir was completely professional. He had to coordinate with the roofer who was replacing the roof at the same time. This was not easy at all, but Amir was available, responsible and on time. The people he has working for him are qualified, smart, able to recognize problems and know how to get the job done at the highest quality level. There is no brushing over problems and leaving them for later. For example, this week, Amir's foreman, Juan, recognized that the condenser pump was not working properly and that was one of the things causing the heating system to stop. He explained everything to me and had the pump that was needed in the truck to do the replacement at no extra charge. Jamie, who coordinates the work schedule, is polite, professional and pleasant to work with. She did an excellent job of getting all the work done completely on time. Amir does all work permitted properly with good contracts. His prices are fair, especially considering the quality of his work. He is a true professional. I now have a maintenance contract with him to keep my system working well. I recommend him highly with no reservations.

Amir, the owner showed up on time. He quickly figured out why the furnace wasn't working, and efficiently installed a new part. He saved me the cost of buying a new furnace. We highly recommend Amir and his company.

They are GREAT. My AC went out on a Saturday. I called my usual company for a service call, but they were rude and didn't even have service available (despite advertising weekend servicing). SO, I checked the LIST and found Heating, Cooling & Beyond. The young lady I spoke to on the phone was very professional and helpful (she even let me vent about other company). She set up an appointment for Sunday. On Sunday, they arrived and were able to immediately diagnose my issues and get me back to being cool! I recommend HC&B to everyone. I plan to use them again in the future!! You should, too.

Love the office personnel. He was running late and called to let me know. He told me of some issues that could be addressed when he comes back for work on our heater. That was greatly appreciated.

My wife and I were very pleased with the level professionalism and kindness we received from Amir with Heating Cooling and Beyond, we were quoted a great price for our new A/C unit and Amir didn't try to over sale us on a unit as he recommended the right size unit for our house. The office staff was very nice and always very helpful. They were very prompt for all visits and were right on time for initial installation. The installation went smooth for the most part but did run into a few issues but they were able to get it resolved quickly. Also, we had one minor issue after installation but it was something simple and we were back in action with cool air. The permit process went smoothly and we are just happy customers. We would highly recommend Amir and Heating Cooling and Beyond for all your heating and cooling needs.

Amir came back this January, to see what might be done about the imbalance of the heat in my house. He was very professional, checked it all out, and explained that to get what I wanted possibly involving new ducting, it would make most economic sense to upgrade my system, and consider moving the units into the attic, which is apparently what's done in a lot of new homes. Although I haven't elected to do this, yes I would very much consider using Heating Cooling & Beyond in the future.

He should be nationwide, he shows up, he cares, it was a difficult job and he made it look so easy. Price was great, service was great.

Provider looked at system, put in cheapo filter, so he fulfilled the minimum requirements. He also slapped his stupid promotional stickers -- with logo and phone no. -- on every piece of equipment including the thermostat inside the house. I had to go around after and remove as many as I could. If he wants ad space he can pay me for it. He also tried to scare me with inflated costs for something and how he could help me get it done for less. Fortunately, I knew enough not to bite. My HVAC was over 30 years old. I knew I'd need to replace it and did so this year. I had 5 contractors come in and bid. I didn't invite this guy. I wouldn't work with him again.

It was great. The owner came out, he was nice and did a good job. They called and asked if he could come early. He's honest, thorough, and reasonably priced.

They were very good. I have no problem with them. It was quite a bit of an extra charge. They responded very fast. When we had them over, we got along very well. He seemed like he was very upfront and honest.

Pretty well. They came out and did a good assessment of what the problem was. I think I got a good assessment for 99 bucks.

The hesitation that I had was I was never really clear what the expected outcome would be. They came out and did a good service. They tried to get furnace going again and discovered it just wasn't going to and they had to do a lot of parts replacement and since the thing was about over 20 years old we decided that it would be better to replace it so we ended up replacing the furnace for about an additional $7000 then as they were leaving I asked them what the condition of the conduits up in the attic and said well we don't know we hadn't been up there and said well could you take a look and they looked and said they were in crap shape and should be replaced which I suspected. Hence I went ahead I think we paid them an additional $4000 for replacing those. I am not sure what would have happened if I had just called the company and said hey could you come out and take a look my furnace without a cost. I don't know what the cost would be relative to what I got for the Angie's list service. May be it should be clear to the customer exactly what they are purchasing when they get the service through Angie's list. I thought they did a very good service. I believe my infra structure was ancient and rarely used but just sitting around waiting for the next 8 or 9 or 10 months to come on again. It had deteriorated. They gave me a good reasonable choice between fixing up what was old and not working and getting modern equipment and we have noticed substantial improvement and are heating since they came out and provided their services. It does not come on often but when it does it quickly and quietly heats the whole house and the repair people that came out were friendly and helpful and did their job efficiently. They had to replace the furnace which you might imagine was a something of a task so basically they came out and did the big deal service and said it isn't working and you could either fix up something that is probably not going to work for long or replace it for this amount of money and we will give you a good deal for that seemed to be a reasonable deal to me so we coughed up an additional $7000 to replace the equipment and then another $3000 eventually to also replace the duct work. They were efficient and pleasant and got the work done and they were honest about what needed to be done and they gave me reasonable service for the price. The final part of my experience with them was the duct work which I had pretty good reasons to know was in lousy shape. I had somebody take a look up there a year or two before and wanted $4000 to do the duct work and they did it I believe for 2600. I think they gave me a good price on that. They came out and did each of those within 6 hours from starting time and it worked well. We made the deal on a Friday and they weren't going to receive the device until Monday and they came out on Tuesday morning and provided the service. I am sure they don’t keep my kind of furnace sitting around so they had to get it. They did good with that. Scheduling was very easy. They just called when they said they had the parts and they did the same thing when they did the duct which we eventually also needed and they came out very expeditiously and completed the service very satisfactorily in a short period of time. I would probably tell others that they should check with Angie's list and see if there are members or want to become members to find what is actually currently being offered for services through Angie's list probably just start there. They were professional about what needed to be done and how quickly they could do it. They were forthright about that having settled that they quickly obtained what they needed in order to provide the services and they quickly came out and completed the job.

The man was very pleasant and qualified. We were very happy with the service. He's professional. The service was fine. The price was excellent.

The owner was very nice and helpful. He gave me a very reasonable quote to fix what the original installer did not do properly, as well as a quote to install a return in one of our bedrooms that gets too hot to cool well with the ac on. I will definitely be calling him to do the additional work.

They were great. They came out on New Year's eve because our heater broke on New Year's eve. Our heater work enough for the weekend and he came back the next Monday and replace everything in the AC.

Fine. They did two furnaces and I paid extra. They were very good.

The person who came out to complete the service also happened to be the owner. He seemed nice and was knowledgeable, but it seemed to me that he spent a great deal of time on phone talking to his workers on other sites and I felt he didn't give his full attention to questions I had about my unit. He forgot to tighten the refrigerant line he had previously checked. Mistakes happen. The refrigerant level was somewhat low and he offered to recharge it at a cost, but as it happened he didn't tighten the line and the refrigerant emptied. This may have also triggered other malfunctions (blower fan went out) which I cannot confirm, but I do know that up until this time I had no troubles with my system that was newly installed 5 years prior. I called another A/C company to trouble shoot and repair these problems discovered that the refrigerant line was not tightened. Needless to say, this maintenance special ended costing me more. No thanks to Angies list for the referral. I'm sure this was an honest mistake. He got busy and tended to other bigger problems on the phone. I expected too much from an Angies list maintenance deal and I trusted the reviews given. I fault myself for making bad decisions on services. My experience may have been an anomaly judging from better ratings given from other clients. I wasn't thinking of posting a review but Angie's list prompts me to place one every time I open it. I need it to stop doing it, and by doing so, I am posting my honest review.

This was when we were having heat wave in LA. Date is approxImate. I called and was desperate because it was 98+ degrees in our upstairs bedrooms and we couldn't sleep. Amir came to our house at 9:30 pm! He was fast thorough and professional. We are going to use him and his company again to repair units at a new home we just bought. Highly recommend his company.

Great! He found the problem extremely quickly and fixed it even quicker. He made sure that everything was working properly prior to leaving. He was friendly and nice and so was the office staff who helped me schedule the appointment.

Amir arrived right on time and was very nice and professional. He moved right into the digital thermostat and was able to diagnose the issue right away and fix the problem. He also went up into the attic to evaluate the furnace and told me that the furnace was in good shape and that the heating problem should be fixed. We tried the thermostat after his fixes and it worked perfectly! The best part about Amir's service was his professionalism, efficiency, and ability to communicate to me about what the issues were and what he did to resolve them. He even waived the consultation fee since it was such a simple fix, which I highly appreciated. If I have any HVAC issues in the future, I'm definitely calling Heating, Cooling and Beyond!
