getting an appointment was no hassle. arrived on time checked the filter and replaced it. checked the a/c and said it was over charged but said it was ok. there was a rattle sound from the a/c. dampened it by tightening some screws said that the capacitor might need replacing in near future but was ok for now. cleared the area around the a/c.

We had Amir with Heating, Cooling & Beyond do major work on our AC system after another contractor had botched the job. From the beginning, we felt we were in good hands, and he worked hard to get the work done right at a very reasonable cost to us. He and his workers were outstanding-- professional, prompt, and excellent at what they did. Amir and his staff were quick to respond to any questions that we had, so we always felt well-informed about the progress of the work. We would definitely hire tHeating, Cooling & Beyond again, and we would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who needs HVAC work done.

I wanted to find out what it would cost to find the problem with the current installation and what it would cost to fix it. It was determined there was a leak in the cooling system but instead of quoting a price to find it and fix it, the cost for a new installation was quoted.

I called Amir when my A/C unit in my office meeting room broke and I was panicked because I had meeting scheduled for the next morning. As always he is such a life saver. He came at the end of the day, preformed a through screening of the problem and had it fixed. He also cleaned and tuned the unit and it works perfect. His price was more than fair but his service worth a million more. I used Amir and his company before at my house and would not hesitate to use him again.

They were fine. I thought it was a little cursory, like you get what you pay for type of thing and there was some up selling which I didn't really appreciate. One thing that he said I needed, I did go ahead and do. One of the reasons I went with that particular deal, cause there were several on Angie's List at that time, was the included a filter. And when he got to the house, they didn't have the filter. So I thought that was kind of iffy. So he did told me where to to go get the filter so I went to that place to get it and I couldn't find the place. I've called him a couple of times, he gave me the phone number of the place so I'm still working on that. The worst experience I ever had.

I purchased an Angies List deal for an A/C system inspection and tune-up. Scheduling was a big problem and, despite booking 2 weeks in advance, I received a last minute call to rebook for a later date. On the service date, I received a call from the service provider on my mobile phone recommending additional service. (I could not be there to greet him in person on the rescheduled date.) Over the garbled connection I misheard the price he offered for refilling my system's Freon and approved the work, expecting to receive a detailed invoice later. I never received an invoice and had to chase after the office to get something in writing. I finally received an invoice that only showed a final bill with no indication of whether my coupon had been applied or how much Freon had been provided. In addition, due to the earlier misunderstanding about the price, I was surprised at the bill. I had a follow-up call with the office and finally got a detailed invoice with assurances that they wanted to repair the relationship. They said they would send me a voucher for a free future service call. I never received the voucher. This was a relatively simple job so I can't comment on how they might do on more complex work. Unfortunately, the back office operation seems disorganized and that makes me nervous about working with them in the future.

Met the Owner for an estimate and he indicated that I had a carbon monoxide leak from my heater and made me very concerned about replacing it immediately. I met 2 other contractors at my home and they did carbon monoxide leak detection and both contractors detected no leaks. It's hard to trust a company that's not telling you the truth.

It was a pretty good deal for the price that they offered the deal for. They were very nice when they came in. They informed me about what was wrong with my four ton air conditioner and heating system. They told me it was not the code with details of what it does have and does not have and then they went outside to the big condenser wherein I was informed that it had a slight leak in the Freon. They gave me a list of the requirements and asked me to keep the area clean as well. Initially they did not want to do the deal and I had to show them the actual deal which includes tune up based on Angie’s List deal for which they said that they normally come in and inspect it for the deal. They said they normally don’t tune it up for the deal that was offered. They said that since I had presented them the deal they will do everything that is stated in the Angie’s List deal so it was very nice the whole time but then they criticized my system by telling me that there was a slight leak; they told me that I had to spend $250 approximately for having them come out for the next couple of weeks for replacing and purging things. I called another company who normally come and do my spring tune up to have a look for which I paid $60 which is double than what I paid on Angie’s List. They checked all the wires but people from Heating Cooling & Inc had not taken all the wires apart and checked. They had changed one of the valves with a gold metal valve in the place where the Freon goes in or where the potential leaks are but when the other guys came over and did the bubble test with Windex and there was no leak. I don’t have a leak and don’t have to spend $250 for splurging the system. They were on the cell phone all the time and were getting calls for some other jobs. They were very nice and clean. I had to have a contractor who has worked on my system before come in and say that everything was fine. I have got a 1956 mid century modern home that no one has ever said that my air conditioning system is not to code before. I just felt they came in to just scare me into thinking that I had a leak. The person who came to our house and said there was a slight leak was Mr. Amir. They were gentle with my system but I did not appreciate their up selling.

The compressor was making a noise that concerned me, so this was just a quick check up to make sure the unit was cooling properly, freon up to snuff, etc. He informed me that while the noise was out of the normal range, the unit was working fine. I appreciated that he didn't try to scare me into purchasing something I didn't need..

Disappointed that no follow up but plenty of verbal details as to what was wrong with everything. I felt pressured to agree to repairs on the spot but asked for detailed quote which I never got.

Amir and all of his guys were GREAT! Very professional, friendly, courteous. Amir knows what he is doing, and he explains is all to you. He will tell you the truth whether or not it benefits him. They did a perfect job, on time, on budget. I interviewed 6 contractors for this job and Amir was far and away smarter, kinder, more knowledgeable, and more responsive than any of the others. And he lowered his price to beat another estimate. Use him!!

In addition to previous comments, i just want to state that the technician was very professional and nice. One of my family members is in the middle of moving and boxes were everywhere. He worked around us and even offered to carry them to the car for us.

I received an A/C tune-up, and did receive an analysis of how my A/C was functioning. There were a few technical issues that possibly need to be resolved in the future, but my A/C was functioning fine. The filter and everything else was replaced to satisfaction. I was thinking about replacing my A/C, but after talking with the technician, he advised for a bang for the buck to get a lower cost A/C. So that's always a positive when someone isn't necessarily interested in installing the most expensive item for you.

Amir arrived on-time, did a competent job of inspecting the Forced Air Unit and took the time to explain the measurements he was making. Based on these measurements, he recommended removing cascaded retur air filters to increase the air flow across the evaporator A coil. He stated that the unit contained sufficient air conditioning refrigeration coolant, but was troubled by the large differential pressure across the compressor, which he said was due to moisture in the lines. He discovered some icing on the highpressure side of the coolant line leading from the compressor, which he said was due to inadequate air-flow across, and insufficient coolant flow through, the evaporator. In sum, I was quite satisfied with the work performed by Heating Cooling & Beyond.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from Angies List for A/C check and new filter. I made an appointment and one day prior the company called to verify time of appointment next day between 4:00 & 7:00 pm. They did not call or come. I called the company about a week later and asked for a reason why and they had no answer. This was my first and last experience with Angies list.

The service man inspected the unit, told me that the unit that was put in was put in was the cheapest equipment, was leaking water, air and the platform is was secured to was not substantial. The condenser on the roof was not strapped and no permit had been pulled for the installation. In general, he bad mouthed every aspect of the air conditioning equipment, never did clean or service the unit but plastered without my approval his company's decals on the outside of the thermostat and inside the furnace room.

The technician said several things needed immediate remediation and repair. We asked for a written recommendation which was provided. The technician in writing told us to not use the unit until repairs are done. Issues listed were:- 1. Drain pan and dran are not properly installed and connected. Pan is broken, trap on condensationline unit will leak into house. 2. Recommended OEM Capacitor and contacter installed. We aksed for an estimate for these repairs. Technician said that we'll get it via email and that someone from the office will call. There was not call or email for several days so I called the company an spoke to a receptionist. She took my call back number promising to call by next day. Again no call or email. The company in writing asked me to not use the unit until repairs are done, yet did not think it is urgent enough to contact us for remediation for over 2 weeks. Very poor follow up and customer service.

Heating Cooling & Beyond Inc did exactly as advertised. They were knowledgeable and courteous. The whole service took a little less than 2 hours. I also inquired about splitting the unit with dampers. I received a detail quote within two days. I would recommend this vendor for future air conditioning/heating projects.

Gentleman was excellent and pointed out things that were overlooked by last service provider

He was great and pointed out some issues that would cost me a bundle in the future if I didn't fix them. Very helpful.

My overall experience with the company was that the service quality was average. The job performed was mostly stuff that I could have done myself.

Everything was fine. Needed freon replenished. Recommended some adjustments to make sure unit would operate to best efficiency.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I asked them to come but it wasn't for any particular reason, we needed something checked out, he was quick, he came out here after just a few minutes, checked it out and left. I kind of expected like if you take your car in for a tune up for example, that they'd give you a rundown of what the status was and what liquids were low and things like that, I kind of expected something like that, I didn't really get anything like that from him other than just a quick report that he noticed that we needed a drain put in for the excess water. As far as customer service, he seemed nice, I think I had more in mind when I heard the word tune up, that there was actually more service rather than just a quick look at everything and then tell us what we should be doing. I'll probably not use them again, I'll see if I could find someone else to do similar or better work. He was very polite, I didn't mean to make him sound like he wasn't but I didn't feel that he was anything spectacular that I have to have him back right away.

Came on time, no hussle or try to charge extra. Inform what need to do and cost without pressure. Price seems reasonable ( I haven't compare price yet ) when I saved enough cash, certainly will consider using this company's service.
