HC&B was prompt, professional, and definitely NOT pushing anything else. Very good service.

The air filter that was installed did not appear to be as effective as the one I purchase at the hardware store and the technician was not helpful in answering the questions I had.

It went fine. They came out shortly after I purchased the deal. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. This was the first time I used them. I thought the price of the deal was fair. He seemed to know the stuff. The responsiveness was very good.

My air conditioner stopped working. Amir from Heating, Cooling & Beyond, Inc. came to my house. He checked the furnace, coil and condenser. He determined that coil was leaking and the furnace was significantly rusted. He also determined that mice or rats had chewed through the low voltage wiring connecting the furnace to the outside condenser unit. He explained several options and the prices for each option. I decided to replace the furnace, coil and wiring. The work was done as promised two days later. Amir showed up at the time agreed with his team. The work was completed on time and the new unit is functioning perfectly. There was one issue on matching the furnace to the condenser that I noticed only after the work was complete. I pointed this out to Amir and his response was that it was his fault and immediately offered to correct the problem at no additional cost even though it would result in him losing money on the transaction. Based on the service, responsiveness and honesty, I would highly recommend Heating, Cooling & Beyond.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it went fine. I had to pay $120 for the Freon over and above the price of the Big Deal. I thought the person who came out was a super-nice, knowledgeable guy. I thought their prices were a little high, but other than that it was good.

This past Labor Day, with temps well over the 100 degree mark, my A/C Unit failed. After a bad experience with another contractor, I called HEATING COOLING & BEYOND. I told the office manager (Miriam) my situation, and asked for a quote for a new unit. I also asked how long it would take to install the unit. I was told they needed 3 days lead time, and they don't do installations on the weekends. I got a quote emailed to me in less than 30 minutes. During those 30 minutes, I called 9 other companies, leaving messages requesting a quote for a new system. At the end of the day, I only got 2 responses from the other companies. In the meantime, I went back and forth with Miriam over change orders to the quote she gave me. Each time, she was happy to accommodate me, and I got a new quote within minutes. I even asked for a different manufacturer than the ones they normally use. Finally, we had an agreement, the contract was signed and a down payment was made. This was Wednesday early evening. I told Miriam that I didn't want to wait until Monday to cool my house. She said I would be enjoying air conditioned splendor by end of business Friday. They contacted Rheem (the manufacturer I wanted), and bright and early Friday morning, there was a Rheem truck parked by my driveway, delivering my new unit. A short time later, the crew from HC&B showed up. They were friendly, efficient, professional, and true to their word, by Friday afternoon, my house was a comfortable temperature. They hauled away my old unit, all it's parts, all the debris that normally comes from an installation, and even swept up. The job went the way I would love all my jobs to go... no muss, no fuss, no problems. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The details are Heating, Cooling and Beyond, came when needed, acted professionally, analyzed and solved the problem and charged fairly. They are client centered ( especially Amir). I have been hobbling around w/ American Home Shield for sometime,, dealing w/ not so satisfactory service. But with Angies List and providers like Heating , Cooling and Beyond, the quality of service and the cost are substanially better.

Provider was professional and friendly. We highly recommend the company and plan to use them again in the future.

Very professional; We were told that not all the system was up to code but we just finished major construction 3 years ago and the inspector did not mention any problems with the HVAC. We don't doubt that there are things that have been grandfathered in and are not up to code. We just don't have unlimited funds to fix problems that the Building Department has not singled out.

Said he replaced a filter but basically told me that I would need to spend $4000 on a new system. Not much more info. Told me that our thermostat was no good but when I wanted details there were none.

They did a good job, he was very professional and efficient.

It went just fine. They checked and serviced the units (2) and suggested a small repair for less than $200. We will do the work later and will call them back.

Our HVAC system quit working suddenly during a heat wave and we left a message at Heating Cooling & Beyond after hours on a Saturday night. Amir called back within 30 minutes (unexpected given it was after hours) and agreed to work us into his busy Sunday schedule. After calling on Sunday morning to tell us he was on his way, he arrived before the agreed upon time and he quickly diagnosed the problem. After driving from Simi Valley to Culver City to obtain parts for a 25 year old unit he quickly reassembled our system. We definitely will call Heating Cooling & Beyond to service our system in the future.

Amir (owner) was here in about thirty minutes on an over 90 degree day. Replaced the capacitor and we are up and running. Yes, the capacitor was on the expensive side, I know what they cost, but you can't argue with a thirty minute response time. Nice guy.

Amir was efficient, polite and completed the entire job very quickly. The receptionist at Heating, Cooling and Beyond was also very helpful and polite.

My A/C had went out on a Friday afternoon and I called Amir and as usual he came even on a late Friday afternoon. He got it working at a very low cost. He is so professional and very kind.

This is a terrific AC contractor. The office called about a half hour before arrival to let us know that they were on their way. Amir did the work...he was courteous, professional, and really knowledgable about this AC unit. He provided some good basic tips on how to keep it operating as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, further inspection revealed that a lot of our ductwork has seen better days, and for a house of our size, the investment required for new ducting is a little more than we want to do in this relatively mild summer. We will likely do the work in the off-season in preparation for next summer. I would use Heating, Cooling, and Beyond again without hesitation.

there was a checklist the provider was supposed to complete. my husband talked to the provider, amir & he explained everything he was doing & went down the checklist w/ my husband. he did everything on the checklist & was extremely friendly. he told us not to get a cover, but to cut the tree back that shades the ac unit. he was very helpful! I bought this thru an angie's' list offer, checked them out on angie's list & went for it! amir treated us as if we were paying full price for his service & he had to travel about 40 minutes each way!!!! I would definitely use heating & cooling beyond again.

When I called to make the appointment I told the person I spoke to that I have a hepa filter that needs replacing and I know I'll pay extra for it ($69.00). When they came they did not have the hepa filter which surprised me because I called two weeks in advance which gave them plenty of time to order it. But, Amir returned several days later with the filter. I knew the cooling unit outside would need cleaning because the dryer vent is next the the A/C unit (bad construction on my house). I also knew the hepa filter in my garage would need cleaning because I have long hair cats. They cleaned the units thoroughly. Amir clearly explained to me the problems he found. He told me the outside unit was a little low on freon. He recommended: that I have the coil cleaned which would cost $350; installation of P-trap on coil which would cost $50; and clean condenser coil and something else which I can't read now on the receipt but would cost $275. I will consider this and determine if and when I'll get this done. They were very polite and respectful and very careful not to track dirt into my home.
