My 90 year old mother’s AC stopped working over a hot weekend and I live about 100 miles away. My mom had called another local company who came out on Sunday but wanted to charge her $1950 to replace the fan motor. This seemed way high to me and I called Buchanan Services that same Sunday and left a message. Monday morning the owner called and said he could respond within a couple of hours. Once there (on time), he and his son checked and replaced a capacitor, checked the rest of the system, replaced a filter for her and my mom had AC again for a minimal charge plus parts. I highly recommend Buchanan Services for their professionalism, service and most importantly their honesty and integrity!

Bobby and helper, Danny?, arrived a few minutes before scheduled time (they called first to verify that I was home). They asked me what was going on and I explained that we had a power surge that was so brief that I did not notice it, but it was enough to trip the circuit breaker. They reset the breaker and then checked all the motors, freon level, etc. and then checked the filter... it was a total ball of dust, so they washed it and replaced and everything is working great again.
They were both very professional, courteous and helpful.. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends.

He showed up right away and not only unclogged it but put a new piece in so that it wouldn't do it again.

Came out same day as my call, listened to my description of the problem, inspected the heater and knew right away what needed to be done to fix heater. Removed broken part, had to go buy part and had to continue with other service calls, planned to return to fix heater late that night. I explained that I would be fine without heater for one night and to just come back in the morning. Was really nice that they were committed to fixing my problem same day no matter how long it took or how inconvient it might be for them - totally appreciated that. Were back the next day first thing and fixed heater. Very nice, honest, committed, and I would definately use again.
