Timmer-Schau Painting And Paper Hanging

Don Timmer and Rich Schau, partners in Timmer-Schau Painting and Paper Hanging, completed the external painting of our home in July 2010. We had a three color paint scheme in mind?one color for the body, white for the eaves,  trim, and  screen door, and blue for the shutters and front doors . Rich Schau helped me find the exact paint color I wanted for the body. The house had not been painted in almost 20 years and there was a lot of prep needed on both the stucco and wood siding as well as the eaves.  They were very thorough in preparing the house by pressure washing, sanding any peeling paint, filling all cracks and gaps, and priming . We have elaborate Victorian double screens on the front doors and  they did on excellent job on those, both inside and out.   Don and Rich arrived every morning at 8 am and left at four, after cleaning up for the day.   It took them 5 ½ days to complete the job.   Their price was reasonable, they are both very pleasant and accommodating,  and the finished job far exceeded my expectations.   

 In November they came in to paint after a DIY hall bath remodel.  They had to remove old wallpaper, smooth and mud the walls in the vanity area, and paint the entry and all halls, including all interior doors and trim.  I highly recommend this company.
