Deck and Porch Service
We hire Schalich Brothers Construction in
June of 2012 for a remodel project that they estimated to last until the end of
October 2012. Schalich Brothers
Construction completely under estimated the work. We finally received our
closed work permit from the city this summer 2014. The delay was a combination
of punch-list workmanship items that were never closed and John Schalich lack
of current local government knowledge to legally close our project. Our journey
ended with big workmanship defective / health hazard that required our family
with 3 young children to move out for 3 weeks. Both Mike and John Schalich
vowed to pay for the work required to fix their defective work. We are currently still waiting on Mike &
John Schalich to honor their word to ensure we are fully reimbursed for all out
of pocket expense associated with their defective work. In retrospect we are
saddened that we hired Schalich Brothers Construction and have since learned
from others in the community that they?re know for middle to poor quality work.
Be careful when selecting your general contractors and ignore your architect?s
recommended general contractors.
