Pete is fantastic! He called back promptly -- on a holiday -- and fit us in within 24 hrs. He did a home electrical audit, showed us how to read/interpret the smart meter and PG&E website re electrical usage, performed troubleshooting, and narrowed down the problem. Now we can hire an electrician because we know what the issue is! Great guy with a great personality and excellent customer service. Five out of five stars!!!!

Provided useful advice for reducing our gas bill.

I am surprised to see positive reviews of Peter here. He first accepted my request on angi but then never confirmed the appointment. Called the same day to reschedule, so I figured it was a one time thing. Then on the day we would rescheduled, he called just before the appointment to say he was running late. Came in telling me he was running late because someone had called him about a lawsuit he's involved in at 8:30 am. Our appointment was at 1. We then pulled up our PG E bill and he was helpful in pointing things out that we should look into. I walked around the house and outside with him until I had a meeting for work. I had explained this when I made the appointment and he reassured me that I did not need to be available the whole time he was there, he would send a report afterwards. He was there for another 2 hours and came over with a legal pad and some scribbles to show me as I was getting off a call. I asked again if we could get a written report as his legal pad notes we not making complete sense to me, and I was finishing a call. Again, he reassured me that he would send a report. He then asked for a check for $250, so I paid him. Then the follow up began. I sent an email a few days later to remind him of the report and he ignored it. Then I called a few days later and he answered and said Oh Brooke I am thinking of you, you are top of my list to get to Another week went by, I sent another email, made another phone call. Went completely unanswered. Not only did we not get the report promised for our $250 (he of course deposited the check in mere moments), but we feel completely scammed. Do NOT give this person your money, he is completely unreliable and a scammer.

Peter is a very knowledgeable and patient guy - he helped us understand our energy usage and even showed us how to read the usage of individual appliances used in our home. He also provided a full report on potential issues with specific windows, and had really good information about planning for future HVAC improvements. We feel so much better about our future home improvement projects after our home energy audit with Posert Energy!

Peter was very helpful in helping me find out ways to prevent cold air from coming in the house as well as helping me check my energy bill to see what rate plan made sense for my electrical needs. He also checked my HVAC to make sure the heat was coming out at the right temperature as well as my attic to assess how much insulation I had up there. He also taught me how to figure out how much electricity different appliances in the house was taking up. He also covered the best way to get solar and how to upgrade my house to use heat pumps. He was very friendly and I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

I wanted to know why my PG&E bill was higher than the average, since I 'm singe and live in a 1 bedroom apartment. Peter was professional, thorough and willing to do what it took to get to the source of my problem. He checked every switch, outlet, appliance, light fixture etc. It became clear as to what was creating the high usage. I've changed some habits now:d turn lights off and unplug things at night, as well as try not to use big appliances from 4-6. I found out my electric tea pot and electric fireplace used a lot of electricity. I turn off fireplace when I'm not using and bought a newer electric the pot. My PG&E bill is now less than half of what it was. Thanks to Peter Posert!
