Could not be more please at the process and outcome.
The crew was very courteous and on site promptly each day. The entire job was completed in about 10 days. They took a lot of time in preparation being sure that everything was covered appropriatey.
Our main consern during the process was that this time of year, the San Geronimo area is quite damp and cold. Our worry was the the stain would fade or return to the old tired / worn look. We were assured by Bill, that if any of the decks or house faded, they would return to treat that area free of charge. So far we have had no issues.
Our home looks almost new.
If we were forced to find a negative, it would be that there were a few oil blotches left on two of our windows. This took all but five minutes to clean.
We would definitley recommend North Bay.

I have used them periodically since 1995. They did a fantastic job. In October 2005, we remodeled a garage into a living space. The subcontractor who did the painting was really, really bad. I needed that repainted. Because this company advertised painting, I hired them. They probably gave the most professional residential proposal I had ever seen. I have been in commercial real estate for 35 years, so I've seen a lot of proposals and contracts. It turned out to be the worst paint job I've ever seen in my entire career. In addition to not being properly trained or supervised, they painted over latches and did a sloppy job. When I called about it, they sent the two painters instead of the supervisor. They used steel wool to get paint off the windows, and they scratched them. I called the owner and got no response whatsoever. I wouldn't use them again.

They did an amazing job, were careful about the landscaping and pleasant to work with. They went far beyond what I expected and helped me repair some floorboards that needed replacing and other carpentry that was needed due to poor construction materials when the house was originally built twelve years ago. I will always use them if I have painting needs, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Bill was very responsive to my phone calls and scheduling, and Alex was an amazing carpenter as well as conscientious painter.

The outside work went well. Our house looks great, the also painted the garage doors, front doors, gutters and all of the trim. They could have done a little better job on the cleanup but overall I was very pleased. The interior was a big job. We have over 4000 sq feet. The workers did good work but did get a little sloppy near the end of the job. The price was very good for this amount of work so I think they were a little pushed to get done and keep their labor costs from getting too high.

We called NBP when we needed our houses painted again, Mark came over and gave us the almost the same price as last time which was almost 8 years ago. As soon as we approved, they started within a week, power washed the house first and they clean up after each day when they finish, then spray the house and touch up the trims around the windows. Overall they did a great job and I highly recommend this business!
