Horologiii Inc

This is a review of the contractor services offered by Rod Nash of Horologiii Inc.
A fiasco from beginning to bitter end.  We should have known what was coming when Rod showed up on the first day and said he hadn't applied for a permit from the city yet; given that the original start date for the project was a MONTH earlier but got pushed back, it's not like he didn't have adequate notice to get his act together.  
On the first day, he demolished the entire kitchen, giving us hope that the project could actually finish within his timeline....and then didn't do anything for the rest of the week.  Which was annoying on its own, but particularly aggravating when at the end of the week he issued an invoice listing work items that hadn't even started.  Really?  Billing us for cabinet installation when the walls are bare?
The remodeling stretched long past his 10 day estimate. Although not all delays were related to Rod, there were many days when he said he would show up and didn't or did show up to do significantly less work than he had promised.  In mid-December, a couple days before we were leaving for a 3 week vacation, we met with Rod and agreed he would return in mid-January to complete the remaining project tasks. Of course that never happened.  Instead, after a month of steadily ignoring us, Rod sent an email to say his contractor license had expired and effective Feb 1 he was no longer in the construction business.  Funny, this news coming 1 month after he was meant to come by and almost 2 weeks after the license had expired. Meaning that he had plenty of opportunity to complete our project (2-3 days of work remaining at most) before his license expired but that would have required accountability and honesty: traits that were sorely lacking in our interactions with Rod.
Whatever services Rod Nash - and Horologiii Inc - is selling, do not buy! You've been warned....
