We had waited for 20 years to have our kitchen remodeled and we didn't know how to get started. Crystal Oak Builders provided us with an exceptionally great remodel experience. They remodeled our kitchen, laundry area, 1/2 bath, and windows. Their communication was excellent with frequent check ins, great care for our well being (we stayed in our home during remodel), respect of our time (we work full time from home). They stayed on the project timeline with no major delays, and they were responded promptly to our questions. They clearly communicated the financials and helped us make good choices with material costs to align with our budget as well as our design wishes. From design to execution, Crystal Oak Builders provided complete fulfillment for our remodel, and it was an easy and smooth experience. We are so happy with our remodel by Crystal Oak Builders!

I had heard many stories of overbudget, non-quality, and delayed remodels from friends, so I did not want to do it but my wife did. Enter Heidi, Debbie, Yessica, Angel and their crew. Timing: a six-week project that needed only two extra days only because of our change requests. Budget: spot-on except when we choose to upgrade design materials from good to great. Exquisite communications: the team accessible, up-to-date., and with clarity on choices and impacts. Design team integrated with construction team: no gaps. Above and beyond: managing returns and refunds when we changed our minds or vendor delivery error. Move in terrific: a few minor punch-list items taken care of within a few days. When we dropped in from time-to-time to check progress, working atmosphere friendly and upbeat: indicates to me that they take care of their workers. We are grateful and enjoying our new kitchen, bathrooms, hallways, floors, painting, and updated electrical capacity.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Grace Home Remodeling. From the moment I met Heidi and her team I knew immediately that I was in good hands. Melinda was my design consultant and she came with great ideas while ensuring that what I had envisioned was executed. It was definitely a team effort and she was wonderful to work with! Yessica , the Project Manager was attentive, communicative, efficient and just overall a joy to work with. Angel, the main contractor on the job was equally stellar, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure the project was on time, on budget with as little disruption to my daily life as possible. And the guys who did a lot of the actual labor were super efficient, friendly and clean ! Every day after they were done, everything was cleaned up and left as if they were never there ! This was my first big remodel project and was pleasantly surprised with the entire process and how easy it was.. This is due to the wonderful people who work at Grace and I cannot recommend them enough !

Simple Living is amazing! Before we met Heidi, we did not think we would be able to do our remodel as the initial bids came in much higher than we anticipated. However, Heidi did an amazing job of helping us re-think our project to identify the most important goals and to create a project that is attainable for us. Yessica, the project manager, is great with keeping the project running smoothly and her communication and pro-activeness were excellent. Teresa, Simple Living's in-house designers was extremely helpful in guiding us through the overwhelming amount of decisions regarding aesthetic materials selection (e.g. tile, paint, flooring, fixtures, etc). And Angel - wow, what a miracle worker! Angel is the foreman for the project and is one of the best craftsman I have ever met. He was able to find simple solutions to the what seemed to us to be the most difficult of problems. And he always has a smile and is happy to help. And his crew is absolutely top notch. They left the site nice a tidy each day and kept to their work hours. The best part of working with Simple Living is that they do all of the trades (except counter top installation) in house so there are no sub-contractors schedules to deal with that cause delays to the job. Therefore, we had ZERO down time and our project was complete in, what seemed to us and all of our friends who have embarked on similar remodels, a very fast time line. I highly recommend!

Heidi was VERY patient and willing to work with our design and engineering requests! Her crew was impeccable and was the most professional bunch of guys I have ever worked with. The foreman, Angel, was on top of everything and totally put us at ease throughout the project. They were all extremely courteous, professional, meticulous, and all with a smile! Never late and there was never a day that went by that there was no work going on. It sounds like I am being paid for this review, but never having gone through such an extensive remodel (practically whole house remodel), I am VERY glad I chose to go through Heidi at Real Simple Remodeling, and extremely glad Angel was the foreman for our project. The results of our remodel were FAR beyond our expectations! Would I hire them again? Hell yeah, without hesitation!

The Simple Living team was terrific to work with. The workers assigned to our project were professional, friendly and accommodating. Their focus on getting it right and meeting our expectations was excellent. This is our second time working with Simple Living and certainly not our last. We would recommend them highly.

I purchased a home that had not been updated since the mid-60s. After talking with several contractors, I wasn't sure I could afford to do the remodel. Simple Living had done several other jobs in my neighborhood and they were recommended by my neighbors. The remodel consisted of a new kitchen and bath, as well as flooring throughout the home. Heidi and her team were very good to work with. Teresa, the design coordinator, was very helpful with selecting cabinets, tile, and other materials quickly, economically, and according to my design vision. The onsite crew, especially Daniel, are great craftsmen. The final result is much better than I had hoped.

I am very happy that I hired simple living for my bathroom and kitchen remodel. The guys were so efficient and so easy to work with. They were there every day without fail early in the morning until they finish the job that night.

Simple Living did an excellent job for a total home remodel in record time. Heidi the owner of the company was personally involved and ensured that all commitments were met. Byron and Angel the project managers ensured that the work detail truly brought out the uniqueness of the home as they finished the home as if it were fine furniture. Carlos and Rodrigo made sure that the flooring, cabinets, appliances, electrical, painting doors and windows were replaced with the utmost care and professionalism. Teresa the design coordinator blended the remodel so that the finished project stood above all else in the neighbor hood. Views of this home were 3 to 1 in favor of this project on Zillow versus the nearest competitor. The home sold above listing price for a full cash offer one hour after the first open house which only lasted two hours. The completed project set a new standard for the San Marin Community in terms of resale, value received, and most viewed and most loved home on Zillow. This company is highly recommended and a great thanks is given to the whole Simple Living team for a job well done. Highly recommend and if you allow them to do their job you will have a result that sets standards for the community. Simple Living and their project managers have an excellent reputation with the building departments both city and county. This project was a complete flip and they were able to do this in five and half months even with a one month delay due to the planning department. I had terrible water damage due to a flood in my master bath. They did an amazing job, including working with the city on permits and approval. We also used them for some basic upgrades in the kitchen (tile and counters) and flooring. Heidis team was amazing. Trustworthy, on time, well priced and I always received complete communication regarding any change order or cost. I would recommend them any day to work on a home project. Heidi, Byron, Angel and Teresa were all amazing! They are the best and I can tell you that as I had been waiting for months due to other, terrible, contractors.

I never write reviews for services I receive, but I feel compelled to say a few words about my experience with Simple Living. In short, they were exceptional. Weâ ve hired many contractors in the past and have always been moderately disappointed with some aspect of the workmanship or service. In this case, Simple exceeded all of our expectations. Their work was very, very good and their service was even better. In a long, complicated remodel project (like ours), there will inevitably be snags and issues that test the contractor and the homeowner. Ours was no different. What impressed us was HOW the Simple team managed these issues and worked proactively with us to resolve them to our complete satisfaction. This is what sets them apart from any other contractor weâ ve hired over the years. They were extremely competent, communicative, and creative in their approach to the issues that arose during the project and we couldnâ t have been more appreciative. The best thing I can say about Simple is that I WILL hire them again!

As the Estate Executor of a deceased friend, and living in Arizona, my wife and I needed the project done quickly. After numerous meetings with other contractors (discouraging), we found Heidi through Home Advisor. After our first phone conversation we felt very positive and the whole process through the end remained the same. We didn't experience any of those remodel horror stories you hear about. Angel and his team were absolutely amazing and very responsive. We remodeled our kitchen, two bathrooms, and new flooring installed. Heidi was great in working on a budget that we could afford. Heidi and her team are amazing to work with! We needed an emergency kitchen remodel due to a serious mold issue that we inherited from the previous owners of our newly purchased home. She came right in with a vision and immediately executed a plan. Her interior designer, Kirsten, was wonderful with color, tile, and counter selections. Her building crew and project manager, Angel, were beyond stellar. They arrived early each day and stayed to answer any questions we had - always giving great insight into our project and reassurance. The final product completely went beyond our expectations or wildest dreams. Heidi and her team turned a very stressful situation into a joyful outcome for our family. We are beyond pleased with our kitchen and would recommend Heidi in a heartbeat.

We purchased a new home in Oct. and it needed some serious TLC! We contacted Heidi and she and Adam came out for a site visit and to hear our long "wish list". They were able to put a plan together for our home extremely fast, and within a tight timeline and budget for everything we wanted to accomplish. It was amazing! We quickly made the decision to work with the team and kicked off the project soon after. Thankfully Heidi has a team of awesome folks who could help bring our vision to life! It takes a village, right?! Jonas and Adam were so helpful in coordinating the project details and operations, and thanks to Julianne and her talented design eye, we were able to pick out truly beautiful materials in record time. I am so incredibly grateful that Angel was our foreman on the project along with his team of Adrien, Carlos, Greg and Rodrigo. They were seriously rock stars! Each of them so talented in their own ways. They took on a beast of a project - 3 new bathrooms, new kitchen, fence, painted every inch of the house, new wood floors, you name it, they did it. Carlos and Angel are extremely gifted carpenters, Rodrigo is amazing with tile work (we get so many compliments on all of the tilework throughout the home) and Adrien can do anything in any room - all-around talent. They worked from morning 'til night to complete our house remodel in 8 weeks and even through the holidays. We added to the project along the way and they were able to tackle every hurdle and complete the task beautifully. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed all of them - they are so kind and respectful, and made the remodel "zone" comfortable for our family when we had to move in with two small children halfway through the project. They're awesome and I miss seeing them everyday. They made this house our home - I'll think of them fondly all of the time as their handprints are all around. Throughout the entire project Heidi was so supportive and positive as remodels, especially with children, can be quite challenging. She was so incredible in so many ways. Heidi and her team beautifully executed our vision for a new kitchen within a very tight timeline and budget. Heidi has a positive, calm and reassuring personality, for which we were extremely grateful. Her superintendent, Angel, and crew were absolutely AMAZING. They were hard-working, professional, courteous, and creative. Angel, in particular, with his incredible eye for detail, patiently guided us through the many decisions we had to make regarding paint colors, pulls, placements and finishes. We will definitely have them back for more projects in the future!

Our vision and more was made into reality. Heidi and her crew are a delight to work with, their concern for the client is truly refreshing. The quality of work and attention to detail couldn't be better.

The workers were timely, accomodating, trustworthy and took pride in the finished product. They remodeled two bathrooms. They also tiled two fireplaces. Painted a room, and removed the popcorn ceiling. The work turned out excellent! They always cleaned up behind themselves during the time they worked. Very neat. Heidi was also very accomodating to me and my husband, she really cares about how everything was coming along. I would highly recommend them for any type of work.

The construction crew was so professional, clean, knowledgable and fantastic. They worked with us guiding us and allowing us as the customer to give input and alter areas if need be. They worked effeciently and were only at this jobsite during our remodeling. I can not say enough how pleased were are with their service. The renovation was completed in the time frame we agreed upon and the options of using there interior decorator bringing supplies and options for us to select was invaluable to our remodeling.
