I finally questioned him and told him that he owed me money for these tools. He finally paid me $100, even though he still owed me more. I think he preys on elderly or single women and takes advantage of them.
Description of Work: I've used him for several months. At the beginning, the experience was very good. He was overly friendly. Whenever things weren't fixed correctly, he said he would do the work the next time he was out. A water heater wasn't working properly so I had him out to fix that. When he came, he didn't have the tools with him. He went out and bought the tools. He ended up charging quite a lot of money for the repair job. After thinking about it, I realized I had paid for his tools. For other jobs, he would buy the materials and just read the price off the receipts, without showing me the actual bills. I had another large job, and the material bill ended up being very high. He was overbuying materials including supplies like screws and hinges.
