The hose was torn near the place it attached to the vacuum.  A new hose assembly would have cost $40-$50.  He effectively cut a piece off and reattached it to the vaccum.  It worked as good as new and a fraction of the cost.

It went very well.  My machine was done several days before it was promised.  I highly recommend Norwalk Vac and Sew.

They were able to send someone out the same day (it was a Friday, so maybe I was lucky?) and he arrived on time and ready to get to work. He explained the process to me and which part was causing the dryer not to heat. He told me a price and was able to fix it rather quickly. Having already taken apart my dryer hoping to fix it myself, I put a lot of value on the work done here and it was well worth the cost.

Very quick service. He had the part that was needed on hand and it was done within the hour as promised. He even returned the old broken part without having to ask for it. He was also very courteous.

They are very good.  I went in initially to get it repaired and the cost seemed fair to me.  They said it hadn't been serviced for a long time so oiled all the parts.  They then revised the cost and said since I was already paying for the repair it would only cost $30 or $40 to get it serviced.  I left it with them and asked them to go ahead and do it.  They did it and they had it done on time.  The guy was very knowledgeable and I was kind of amazed.  This experience was very good.  I called them first to check if they do this model and they did.  So I brought it in, spoke with them and said it doesn't work anymore.  They looked at it and said they would have it figured out in a couple of days which they did.  They called me and said it was ready.  I went down and was ready to pick it up and pay them when he said some parts were worn and that they could do the service on it for another $30 or $40.  I thought that was a good deal and so I left it with them for a couple of days.  The vacuum cleaner is now working great.  I would use them again.

I was not very happy with this experiecne. We took our vacuum in to be repaired, and when we got home it still did not work. We had to take it back to the store to have them work on it again. Although they were very nice and the vacuum worked well after that, I was unhappy about having to return to the store because they had failed to try it out before calling me to say it was ready.

Slow. Had to redo twice. Did not test repair properly.

Did overall check up and service on my seldom used sewing machine. They did a great job in servicing it including installing a new needle for me and it is like new. They were polite, prompt and excellent work

I took only one of the power nozzles in for repair to see how it would go.  Joe replaced the belt while I waited a short time in the shop.  Later the same month, I took the second power nozzle in to the shop.  The  repair was a little more complicated but Joe was still able to accomplish it while I waited.  I was very pleased with the service.  I would highly recommend them and will definitely used them again if I need any future vacuum repairs.

I was happy. They fixed it. It is broken it again after all this time, but that was what happened. I have to go back. I like their location because it is on the way to my mom’s house, and I do not remember having trouble at all. Their price was average.

I had purchased a Hoover shampooer from a local vacumn store and after using it only five times, the machine would squirt out excessive water on the carpet and while idle would leak all over the floor.  I took the machine back to the store and was told the tank needs to be sure to set right in the machine.  The next time I used it I made sure all the tanks where set correctly and I still had the problem.  I took it back to the store and they kept it two (2) weeks and when I used it again it had the same problem.  I took the machine back the third (3) time and it was there for three (3) weeks, and after three calls I was told that they could not fix it to call Hoover to see if I could get a replacement.  I called Hoover and was advised that the store where I purchased the machine was not an authorized seller or repair center and to take it to Norwalk Vacuum, which I did.  After one day, I was called and advised that the hoses where not replaced correctly and that a part had been broken.  Norwalk advised me that they would contact Hoover regarding the warranty.  Upon calling Hoover, Joe was on the phone for about one half hour.  He decided to hang up after such a long wait.  He then repaired the machine, at no charge, and called and advised me that it was ready.  In the future I will take my vacumn, shampooer, as well as sewing machine to Norwalk Vacumn.  The personnel there are friendly, helpful and efficient.  I felt confident they would do there best in repairing any item I would bring in.  Also, there was help getting the item into the store as well as after the repair.   THANK YOU SO MUCH NORWALK VACUUM CLERNER & SEWING MACHINE, INC. for all your assistance, it is appreciated.

The price was reasonable and it was simple to fix.  They did it on the spot and they did it within 15 minutes.  It was very satisfactory.  They acted right on and they fixed it.  It worked fine.  I didn't shop around, but the price was reasonable.  They replaced it with appropriate belts and it worked fine.  They were very good.  I have used them 4-5 times before.

Joe saw me in front of the store taking my vacuum cleaner out of the trunk. He rushed out to do it for me. He examined the vacuum cleaner and gave me an estimate for repairs, and a time estimate for finishing the next day. He called me in a few hours to tell me it was done, so I went to pick it up. He showed me exactly what he had done,and gave me instructions on how to handle it so it wouldn't break again. He also changed the bag and added a nice scent. Very professional and and pleasant experience.

I have been going to this company for servicing for my sewing machine (Janome) and vacuum (Oreck).  Each time I've been given a detailed estimate and completion date.  I was contacted if additional work was needed or if there would be a delay.  Occasionally I would be told that a repair would be needed eventually but was never pressured to have it done before it was essential.  The work was always well done and completed as discussed.

Workers in the store were very responsive and the work was completed on time. Only problem was that Singer shipped the wrong replacement part and it had to be reshipped which caused the completion of the service to be delayed.

It was good.

REASONABLY PRICED AND FRIENDLY SERVICE.
