VIctor is patient, knowledgeable and easy to work with.  Certainly not your typical computer person.  He communicates well and is very helpful even with the most mundane questions and situations.  He is willing to work on Saturdays if it's an emergency which is a rarity and most accommodating.  He works well with senior citizens, at least he worked very well with me.  I highly recommend him and

After my computer froze, I had to use the power button to turn it off. 
The next time I turned it on, I got the dreaded blue screen of death.  I
could not reboot the computer on "safe mode" or using the previous
configuration.  I checked out Best Buy's Geek Squad and discovered they
charge an arm and a leg for house calls.  My computer is so old that to
carry it here and there for service requires muscles I don't have.  So I
checked Angie's List and found Victor.  He was very professional and courteous over the phone.  He quoted me a range in prices, depending on the amount of work he'd end up doing, and stuck to that when he showed up.  He was punctual and friendly and got to work right away.  He gave me two scenarios over the phone:  that the hard drive just needs maintenance (because it was "dirty") or that the hard drive is dying and I'd need a new one.  He brought a spare hard drive just in case, but it turned out the drive just needed maintenance.  He got it up and running, ran diagnostics, and set up the maintenance program which I have to run every month.  I asked him about an automatic program to backup my files and he installed one right away.  Didn't charge me for it, he just installed it.  I asked him about networking my laptop along with my PC and he did it. Took about 10 minutes.  All in all he was here about 90 minutes, worked the entire time and charged me $85.  I also asked him questions practically nonstop and he answered each one thoroughly yet simply.  Best $85 I've ever spent.  I will call him again with any other computer question and I will recommend him highly to all my friends and family.

It went very well.  I'm not computer savvy at all & get frustrated easily when I have tried to figure out problems.  I have used GeekSquad and other similar large providers before and found them to be a waste of my time and money.  So when it was time to network my home office the task seemed daunting.  A friend of mine recommended Victor after hearing the difficult time I was having finding someone to come out soon at a reasonable price.  He was everything she said he would be. Knowledgeable, professional, punctual and never pushy.  He was working the whole time he was here, so I felt his fee was beyond reasonable.  I appreciated his patience with me. He realized I understood little about computers and showed me what he was talking about.  Since he did the original job, I have contacted him again to proceed with some suggestions he had made.  My computers are running wonderfully. They are so much faster which makes all of us happy.
