 + 6 moreScott returned our call right away and came out to give us an estimate. He understood the structural problem, and designed a clever solution allowing us to keep the clerestory windows that enhanced the den while solving the water leakage problem. His sub-contractors were always on time and a pleasure to work with. Everyone was polite and efficient; they protected our floors with cloths and, once the work was done, replaced everything exactly the way it had been before. Scott often came by to check on the progress. While things turned out to be more expensive than we'd originally planned, we're very happy with the result. Sometimes the cheapest bid isn't necessarily the best one.
Description of Work: We sustained considerable water damage to our home due to rain coming through a seam where an earlier addition had been attached to the house. Sterling Construction repaired the roof, designed a cricket to divert water away from the seam, constructed 2 new clerestory windows, replaced 3 existing leaky skylights with new energy-efficient ones, repaired damaged plaster and drywall indoors, installed new electrical fixtures, and painted.
