Sivan Windows and Doors

Buyer beware. Product from manufacturer is great but installation was not done properly. There's a reason why they collect 90% payment BEFORE installation when industry standard is to only collect 50% payment until installation is complete. Project was to install 4 exterior Therma Tru fiberglass doors. Installation was incomplete and did not meet basic steps outlined in the manufacturer's instruction manual. Step 2 of installation manual: Provide a flat, level, clean weight bearing surface so the sill pan or sill can be properly caulked and sealed to the opening. - 1 door was installed on rotted wood at the bottom, rather than the wood being replaced with properly treated wood - 2 doors were installed on wood from the shipping crate, which is obviously not a weight bearing surface appropriate for an exterior door - 4 doors did not have a surface underneath the entirety of the sill pan / sill, so all 4 sills were not properly caulked and sealed to the opening - All 2 doors were not level with floors -- their manager tried to tell me that they shouldn't have to do this with new construction installation. Hm. Ayala the manager tried to insist that the above was done correctly. This means they either do not want to ensure they install properly or they don't know how to install properly. I personally believe that they know what they did was wrong but are trying to get away with not doing it correctly. I really wish I had a better experience with the final installation as I've found everyone else at Sivan to be reasonable / caring: - Leona helped ensure that my doors were still delivered and installed quickly despite manufacturer delays - Max helped guide me through my options and was patient with me through multiple changes However, ultimately what matters is the installed product. They really deserve zero stars for incomplete installation AND gaslighting me to try to convince me the above is the right way to do things.

Poor service, incompetent people. Even with clear plan documents that were shared, messed up sizing on all 3 of our doors. It is clear that they don't even do basic diligence on what the customer really wants even when the information is provided to them in the plans. Then they hide behind a poorly drafted contract. They are themselves not sure what their payment terms are. First they asked for 10% down on the order. Then it was 50% down. Contract had ambiguous wording which suggested both terms are ok! Had to ask them to clarify and update the contract document. Amateur stuff! In addition to our messed up order, they delivered another door that we hadn't even ordered to our address! Refuse to even acknowledge where that came from. After the order was messed up, rather than acknowledging and owning up to atleast part of the responsibility they refused to have anything to do with it. Tip: Order from the manufacturers or stick to home improvement stores. You will get better prices and way better service for the same products. These guys don't know what they are doing!

I purchased 3 windows and 2 sliding glass doors at the end of March 2021. I wasn't given an installation date until July 2021. The installers broke several tiles, did a horrible job caulking around the windows, broke a window screen, failed to install the 2 slider screens, left their trash, wood clippings, and drinks scattered inside and around my townhome, and damaged walls. They did not finish in one day, so they left my home open to the 95 degree heat for weeks. They did not spray enough foam spray around the openings, so we could pass things through the openings on all windows. The strike plate was even left loose on the sliding door that opens to a main street, so there were security concerns. The company sent several other people out to try to remedy the situation, who all agreed that the quality of work was below standard. It's shocking that these people are in business. The silicone caulking looked as if a child tried to decorate a cake. They tried to repair the issues, but I still have open concerns and it is December 2021. The sliding doors let in so much noise from the outside, even though they were supposed to be sound reducing. It is almost as if they funnel the noise and they make the noise from outside louder than if you had them open. Dirt and wind come in and make the curtains blow. I am constantly cleaning up debris on the inside of the sliding doors. Milgard came out and fixed the loose strike plate that the installer did not tighten enough. They also put in plugs on the top of the sliding doors to try to close the gap but the plugs have started to fall out, so it will be a never-ending issue. The doors and windows are too small for the openings, so the problems will continue. Sivan has responded poorly all the way through. Each person I talk to blames someone else. No one seems to communicate from department to department. They sent a capable installer to try to finally finish the installation on September 4. He took out one window, centered it, and reinstalled it. On the rest, he finished the foil wrapping, added spray foam, and tried to clean up the mistakes that were make with the caulking, but he wasn't able to fix everything. For example, the original installer had broken some of my kitchen tiles, and he tried to fix it, but used the wrong color grout and cut the tile too thin, so it stands out completely. I did not have the extra tiles for the floor tiles they broke, so they covered that up with a metal piece. Once things are done poorly, it is difficult to fix everything. It should have been done correctly from the beginning. The last I heard from them, they were to come out November 6 to finally install the screens, but no one showed up! Then I got a call saying they would come today to repair the screen that is ripped, but they don't have the missing screens. I do not want a repaired screen, I would like what I paid for - a new screen! There are numerous other issues with billing (they promised a cash discount, but then refused to honor that discount until I sent them emails showing that is what was promised by the sales rep Shawn) and other things, but the worst and main issue is the lack of quality. The installers removed the stickers from the windows, and nothing I can see matches the actual order, so I was even wondering if these were the actual windows and doors that I ordered. I have asked someone at Sivan to walk me through all of the numbers and coding on the order so I can see that the correct sizes came in, but no one has. The measurement of the actual doors and windows don't match any of the numbers that were on the order at all. No one can explain why. The installers couldn't even figure out which window went where at first. I paid over $7000, so you would think it would have been a better situation. Be wary of too many positive reviews. I cannot believe they are accurate after my experience.

The front door unit from Milgard arrived in less than perfect condition, the Screens on each side door (it is a french double door with two side light doors) did not work well at all. I would NOT buy Milgard again given the high price and moderately poor quality. The vinyl windows from Simonton are awesome, work well, and are high quality for vinyl windows. I would buy them again!

I met with several window companies and chose Sivan for a few reasons. One, the company was incredibly knowledgable and offered an array of different options (both inexpensive and expensive) when it came to choosing the best windows for my home. Second, Miguel was incredibly kind and handled the process quickly to match my expected timeline. Third, the price for the quality of windows I received was absolute the best deal deal available in the market. The installation was fast and the windows looks fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the process from top to bottom as Sivan cares about their customers and the quality of their work.

This has been, by far, one of the most pleasant experiences with a contractor of any kind. I have done many home projects over many years and more often than not, contractors are late, unprofessional, and often over priced. Sivan was on time to measure my patio door replacement. My custom door was ready sooner than anticipated (even though it was Thanksgiving holiday). The installers showed up on time and the installation went without a hitch. They were helpful and professional and left the area clean of all debris. I highly recommend Sivan and would use them again.

Had a pleasant consultation with Sivan Windows and Doors Sales Rep., Miguel B. He was a little late but considering that a phone rep asked for a little grace on time (the day before) it wasn't a big deal. He was very accommodating to our "no shoes" policy and got right to business. There was no pitch or heavy push to sign anything on the spot. Bonus points for Sivan Windows and Doors! Ultimately we chose another company based on our design and construction needs but would definitely consider Sivan Windows and Doors for referrals.

From start to finish all went well. Thought there might be a final inspection after work was completed from somebody other than the installers

The team did an amazing job, and were very friendly. Price was excellent and they fixed a minor issue very quickly. Would use again and highly recommend!

Very well except one window was cracked

The crew was delayed somewhat due to difficulties experienced at another job that was sequenced ahead of mine. They arrived at the house about 2.5 hours late, but stayed late to complete the installation of all 12 windows. The crew was very professional, taking care to protect my home and its furnishings as they removed the old windows and installed the new ones. They kept me apprised of what they were doing as work progressed. During the project, we learned that two windows were made with the wrong dimensions. The crew checked with their office and found that the error was made at the factory. No problem; mistakes are made and this one was recoverable. The old windows had not been removed, thank goodness. So, a rush order was placed and the discrepant windows were replaced about a week later. The second crew was just as professional and courteous as the first crew. Both crews cleaned up after themselves. In both cases, you would have never known that they were there in the house doing a job.

Work was professional and timely. Also went above and beyond by replacing some trim they noticed was faulty.

Absolutely tremendous service and first class workmanship from Sivan Windows. The estimate was done easily and accurately by JJ and then the windows for almost the entire house were installed within one day. Great clean up of the work areas. I will certainly use Sivan again!

We'd had some bad experiences with home improvement, so Sivan Windows was a real relief. They do so much with a small staff, and they were great with suggestions and alternatives. We got some great doors on our patio and it was a great experience. We'd recommend to anyone.

Working with Sivan Windows & Doors was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor/installer!  And that is saying a lot as I have renovated many properties and dealt with more contractors than I care to remember. This property was our primary residence and we swapped out 15 windows and 2 sliders and their price was the best of the six companies I called out for quotes. I spent a bunch of time on review sites selecting six companies and read LOTS of reviews. And while Sivan Windows & Doors didn't have a ton of reviews, they came highly recommended from a friend who had them install new windows in his house so I had them come out also. The sales person (Yoniv) that came out was professional, showed me samples, took the time to answer all my questions (which there were MANY), and did not use the high pressure sales tactics to close the deal on the spot that all of the other companies employed. In fact, he invited me to their showroom to look at all of their selection and I took the time to go there. They spent another hour with me at their showroom answering more questions and I decided to place my order with them. I ended up going with the Milgard windows and was told they would be in within three weeks. To my surprise, they came in a week early. We set up an installation date and I was called a few days before to confirm the installation. The crew showed up on time and proceeded to remove all of the old windows. After reading a ton of horror stories from reviews of other companies about broken glass and damage from the removal of the old windows, I was extremely pleased to see that they covered all floors with drop cloths and were able to remove my 40 year-old double hung windows without breaking one single window pane! No broken glass inside or scattered onto my landscaping. I was amazed! Jorge and his 3 man crew were very efficient and had the old windows and sliders removed within 90 mins. Five hours later, all the windows, sliders and trim had been installed and the house was totally transformed. Jorge and his guys vacuumed every room to remove any remaining debris and when they were done, you never knew they were there. Their respect for our house and belongings was very much appreciated. They showed us the proper use of all the windows and sliders and had us inspect each window and slider to make sure we were completely satisfied with the installation. I was so impressed with the installation crew that I felt compelled to tip each worker which is something that I have never done for a contractor before. My only wish is that all of the other contractors that have worked on our house in the past few months with our major remodel could have been as professional, timely, and customer service oriented as Sivan Windows & Doors has been. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a stress free experience!

When we bought our house in Los Angeles me and my wife both agreed that windows and doors will be the first thing we gonna replace ,after a quick process online we got to Sivan windows ....the sales rep was so helpful and knowledgeable, he pointed to us so many things regarding efficiency and quality of different types of windows and doors ... We felt confident to obligate and sign the contract for all windows and our front door 
After all windows were installed in one day we just couldn't be happier .. Gorgeous quality windows !
The installers knew not to leave any mess or debris and our house remain clean and knit after the installation 
I felt we got what we paid for ! Awesome deal and high quality job

I wanted to replace few windows at my property and I googled for a bit, "sivan windows" name was at anywhere, google, yelp, houzz, angies list etc...all the reviews says 5 stars, so i call to sivan and to few more company’s, sivan defiantly bit them all with the price and also at the service, the receptionist was so polite and very knowledgeable she was able to schedule a free in home estimate for the same day i called, so yaniv arrived and i can see very professional young man that consult me in very professional way, and we close the deal. the installation crew was quick and they clean after them, it looks like nobody was there, except that i get brand new shiny windows! i will defiantly recommend you on sivan windows and doors!

Amazing job, beautiful Windows and doors and a fair price! Yaniv was great as was the install crew. Everything from the initial visit through the install date went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend!
