Orlando Diaz' visit for the estimate went smoothly. He and homeowners agreed that the ceramic tile on the fountain that needed descaling called for a gentle touch. He agreed to do the work: $950.00 for the slate and $175.00 for the fountain tile. The work was scheduled for the following week; the work men arrived an hour late without explanation. That evening we observed that the slate looked very nice but the fountain didn't look any different. A phone call to Orlando set up a day that he would come and redo the work himself. A couple hours into that day, I called the office to confirm things with Orlando but had to leave it that the receptionist would call me back once she reached Orlando. Late that same afternoon, I repeated my phone call to Orlando with the same result. A fourth call the following day had the same result. That has been four weeks ago--the fountain tile still has its film of scale, Orlando has his $175.00 and we're still waiting for a callback.
