Not good. Let's talk about specific area. The entry way tile came out fine. The installer did not extend the supporting cement to fully support the edge of the tile, and a piece broke off shortly after installation. They came back quickly, replaced the broken tile and shored up the edge - and to date (almost 18 months) no further issues. It looks nice.
The fireplace came out good. Initially, the installed rather than cutting out a piece of wood that stuck out a bit near the floor instead cut the tile to go around it. I of course complained, and they came back, sawed back the wood and put on a new tile. That looks fine. They did the same on the other side of the fireplace, but it faces the organ and is not visible unless you look for it. It is not a professional way to do it, but I accepted the fireplace work.
Now, the bathroom is whole different story. First, the Caesar Stone top came out very nice. We are very pleased with that. As for the vanity, the first time their carpenter delivered it, the measurement were all off and the sink would not centered. I called Usher and told him that was not acceptable. He had the carpenter come back, pick up the pieces of the vanity to redo them. He was not a happy camper. A week later, he returned and installed the cabinet. It looked great.
A couple of months later, the paint began to peel off a couple of the drawers. I called Usher and he sent the carpenter back who picked up the six drawers and took them to the shop. He claimed it was water damage (yeah, right - the cabinet that was there before was 60 years old - never had a problem! Anyway, a week later, he brought them back and said "never again would he do this." Sheesh - unbelievable! This is supposed to have a year warranty.
Well, just after a year, the paint on the ones he redid started pealing - and today, it is really pretty bad. Now, I have to call a painter to come in and do this right. It appears the carpenter spray painted the drawers with no undercoat (the reason why the paint is pealing). Further, one of the drawers appears to not be level as it will creep out when it is closed. Bottom line - I am NOT a happy camper, but my warranty is out.
We will be doing other work around the house down the road. We will NOT be calling this company - and that is too bad. We enjoyed working with them (except for the issues with the carpenter who acted like a jerk).
