Juon Painting

They did a great job. The crew was professional and they taped up everything. One year later I still look at the paint job and think how well they did. I would absolutely use them again, and have recommended them to everyone I know who needs painting done. The price they quoted was tied for my lowest bid (I looked at 5 different painters) so I was concerned about quality, but it was fantastic. I had a built in TV area and they painted it quickly and it looks great. They removed all of the window blinds for us and re-installed them when they were done. We had new floors put in and afterwards they came back and painted the moulding by hand without one mistake- fantastic.

I am a Real Estate Investor and Agent for 25 years. I have used Juon Painting many times over the years. They have always done an excellent job at reasonable prices. Currently I have my own full time crew that works on our properties but when they are too busy Juon is first on my list for an outside provider. I have dealt with many painters over the years and I consider Juon to be one of the best.

They were excellent and I would definitely recommend the service provider to anyone else. They showed up on time, they were very dedicated to their work and basically I think the painting was included in cost of the service. One thing that was very impressive about this company was that the paint they actually had to purchase was a lot more than what they had anticipated because I wanted to paint the room yellow and the yellow looked like they painted it for which I think they spent like double the price on the paint than they originally expected. They did not charge me any extra because it wasn't mentioned in the quote initially.

They did really well. I had some problems with them. They came back and corrected those right away. We are hiring them again to do some work for our business property.

We called Juon Painting in October to give us an estimate on re-stoucoing our retaining wall that is the length of the driveway. They out the next day to give us an estimate that we thought was really fair for the amount of work to be done. It's a long, tall wall and it needed to be scrapped and redone. They offered to schedule us right away but we needed to wait a while. When I called them back to schedule they came out the next day with two guys who were right on time. They cleaned and primed the wall and then came back the next day to finish. They did a great job and left the place clean and neat. I would definaetly use them again for any painting jobs we have.

I liked the fact that they were upfront with the cost. They were prompt to respond. I will use them in the future.

We used them to paint the interior of the house a few years ago, and they did an excellent job. When the exterior needed painting, I called them again without hesitation. Edwin was on time for the appointment. I explained what was needed, and showed him the areas of stucco that was leaking in the rain. He suggested sealing the cracks with silicone, and applying Thompsons Water Seal to the area as well. It took 4 days to paint the house and doors. The crew of 3 arrived every morning between 7:30 - 8:00, and left in the evenings after 5:00. They started by powerwashing the house, and worked on the high areas first. The yard was kept very clean, but a side gate was left open most evenings. Not a big deal, but I am glad I checked before letting the dogs out! Edwin suggested changing the color of the side door to the garage to the color of the home trim and rain gutters. I was hesitant, but went with his professional opinion. The color change on the door looks great! The home and trim is the same color as before (a light peach with brown trim). No problems with the work at all, and it has rained several times and no leaks!! I would definitely continue to use and recommend Juon Painting

Over all job went very well. They even fixed many of the mistakes the handyman made before they came. I offered to pay them extra for this, they did not charge me

I loved them and thought they were very reasonable. They were also very forthright with their work and it was an excellent experience. They gave me a quote of $1500 and when I had a little more work done, they charged me an additional $300. I was very impressed because the lady from the office called after that and wanted to make sure that there was additional work done. It was 2 days of work that they did.

The project had to be rescheduled due to weather, but they showed up on the first day and determined they could not do the work. It was rescheduled to another date convenient to me. They showed up on time and worked very hard and did a good job. Very friendly and heldpful. Very mindful of my satisfaction. I would use them again.

I went with Juon Painting because I felt Edwin was an honest and sincere businessman and his estimate was one of the lowest I had received (Estimates ranged from $2500 to $10000!). I did have a hard time getting a hold of him when I actually wanted the work done, but it was the Christmas holidays and they were out of town. Once I did get a hold of them, they were ready to start work the next day. Three workmen showed up on time and started the work. They scraped the ceiling in one day and I have high ceilings in the living room. They did a beautiful job of patching up all the holes and cracks in the condo I just bought. The paint job is seamless and the colors I chose were spot on. The lead painter ended up staying late the last day to finish painting the cabinets because I had new countertops put in and didn't realize that I should have scheduled it for another day. He even helped me remove an old doorknob as he waited for the countertop guys to finish so he could paint the kitchen cabinets. They finished a 3BR, 1250 sf unit in three days. I am very pleased with the work. The estimate I received includes painting of the new baseboards once I get the flooring installed. I would totally use them again. Their estimates were very reasonable. The higher estimates claimed they were high because removal of the acoustic ceiling would take days and would be difficult to remove. Juon proved them all wrong as they removed it all in one day and patched the ceiling in the same day! I would highly recommend them and will use them again for future projects.

Excellent job. Pak, the painter, arrived on time and began setting up cloths, etc. for painting. There was a lot of holes to fill and some major patch work in certain locations on the walls. Prep took most of the day and the walls were ready to be painted. Painting took a couple more hours and it looks great. Pak could have stopped at 4 or 5pm but finished at 6:30p because he knew the floors were being installed tomorrow. I think he did a fantastic job and the result, great looking kitchen!

Looks beautiful, and both plaster work, priming and final paint was done within five hours in one day. My only concern is that the plaster wasn't allowed time to properly dry and cure -- (will post another review if there's any problem!) Meanwhile, the work was done quickly, and looks great.

Edwin Juon showed up on time to give me an estimate to paint the complete interior of a two bedroom home. Two weeks later, I scheduled the work to be accomplished with only a couple of days advance notice. They fit us into their schedule. They showed up when they promised and got right to work. They did an excellent job and used drop cloths to protect the carpet. I was impressed with how clean their work area was while painting. Good job guys and you are now in my database as I manage a number of homes in the area (Property Manager).

Good paint job. Painter drove his truck into my bushes. He apologized, but he should not have done it.

Although the estimate was higher than others, I chose them because they had a high rating on Angie's list. 2 painters took all day to paint 1 room and a bath. When they were done, a patch of wall had the previous color showing through, and 2 windows were painted shut. When I pointed this out to them, they said they would take care of it, but they didn't.

They were punctual, hard working and did a very professional job. They were easy to work with and did a good job of protecting floors and paths to the work areas. I was very pleased with the workers and the workmanship.

A crew of 3 men arrived on time Monday morning for a 3-5 day job. They got to work immediately setting up tarps and laying down plastic. The work was well planned out, starting at one end of the house and progressing to the other as the work was completed. They moved the large and heavy furniture to the middle of the rooms and covered with plastic. They were very patient with my three kids and two dogs (one a very busy puppy)! I felt comfortable leaving them alone in my home while I took the kids to the park to let off some steam. There were no problems with the crew who showed to do the work. The same three men arrived on time everyday and twice stayed until after 8:00pm. There was a problem with the person who gave the quote. I was very specific that I wanted the entire house painted with the eggshell finish (except ceilings which were to be flat). The quoter tried to talk me out of it, saying most houses were semi-gloss in bathrooms and kitchens and low sheen on room walls. I again said eggshell everywhere. Well, on Monday they arrived very prepared for the work ahead and of course had semi-gloss and low sheen paint already purchased for the entire house. It was not worth arguing about, but I did have them buy new eggshell paint for the kitchen. Way too much wall space for semi-gloss in my opinion, and I am the one paying the bill. The job was finished on day 4, at 8:30pm. It was not until the next day that I noticed several areas that needed to be touched up, and the area of dry wall work that was not finished very well. I called them back out, and they were very apologetic about not noticing the touch up work themselves. All work that I pointed out was completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely use them again.

Their price was just about half of everyone else's. I was a little nervous about that because I had never seen the quality of their work before, but I did get references, and they ended up being fantastic. They did everything just as they were supposed to. They sprayed the ceiling so the project took a much shorter time than I thought it would have, and they were able to finish the project right on time. They worked night and day and did a very good job. It was an extensive project, and they were just excellent. The cleanup was immaculate, and there wasn't a stray drop of paint anywhere. There was nothing that I asked them to do that they did not do.

They did exactly as they said, and even started and ended as they said they would. They have great quality of work and when we do the outside of our house we are definitely going to call them to do it for us.

I contacted Cal-Wide to request an estimate just before Labor Day weekend. Edwin came out the Tuesday after Labor Day and gave me an estimate for the work I needed done and the time needed to do the work. I called later the same day to let them know that I had decided to hire Cal-Wide. I had to call them the next day to ask if they were interested in doing the job. I found the office staff a little difficult to work with, but once the job was scheduled, everything went well. The painters started on a Friday and took 6 days to complete. The foreman, Mr. Park, kept the job on schedule and kept me informed of his progress. Overall, I was quite pleased with the outcome, and I am a picky person.
