I got quotes from 10 solar providers, including SunPower, Tesla, and SunRun. GHS came with the most expensive quote. I told them I had done my background research; then my profile went all the way to Mr. Robbie Hebert; he scheduled a video call with me and promised to give the lowest quote. Cool, I asked my SunPower "Permission to Operate that they got approved in two weeks" to rescind it because Robbie came with the better offer (with GHS the design was rejected several times by the city, and it is still not approved). Now, I wish I had known I would go through agony when GHS will install panels on my house before getting the design approval from the utility provider. Then, they realized the original contract contained more items than they put in the design submitted to the utility provider. So they are working on again putting together my design to get the approval. It's been five months, and now the solar lender is stating that the panels are in my possession, and I am supposed to make payment when I am not getting any electricity. The idea about going solar was to save $200-$250 on utility bills, now GHS is making me pay $80 on top of that by pocketing my $32,000 by not paying their sub-contractors/installers who were doing my job; they called me and mentioned that they could not do the work because GHS pretty much didn't pay them for jobs, and it's not the first time GHS dealing like this by keeping people's money. It is literally going against the purpose. My project manager left the company because of GHS's wrongdoings. If you need more details, look me up on any social media platform, let's make GHS do a better job or let's not make other customers like me suffer.

First off; This was no easy task, it required bringing wiring from the breaker box upstairs to the downstairs kitchen. GHS was honest, clean and easy to work with. I had some other people come come for the bid who would not give me a $ amount and just said and quot;we'll seeand quot; GHS charged me a fair price for their time and stuck to it. The job required punching holes in multiple walls and they did it with consideration and as minimally as possible. Out of all the guys i had come through on my 40,000+ remodel, they were some of the best. I would definitely have them work on my other properties as well.

Gabriel Garcia GHS Electrical is FANTASTIC!
The original electrician I had hired was a complete nightmare for me.
I am pretty ignorant of any electrical requirements and repairs, so I was foolish enough to believe the original electrician when he explained that the job would be easy and only take ONE day for an inexpensive price.
Thousands of dollars and WEEKS later he finished and explained that the only thing left to do was get the inspection over with and I'll be done. Well, the inspector came and wrote a laundry list of more repairs to be made before passing inspection.
Needless to say, I looked elsewhere for a new electrician.
That's when I found Gabriel Garcia GHS Electical.
I showed him the list of repairs I still needed and he had them done in only one day at a great price (especially for how quick they were).
As a new homeowner, I must say I have found the electrician I will be calling anytime I need repairs or upgrades.
Great Job!

My mom called me just thrilled with the excellent work Gabe did. She said he was "excellent, excellent!!" She even offered to pay him $80 but he wouldn't take more since he was in an out in less than an hour. This, even though he had to wait an extra 45 minutes, because her line was off the hook and he couldn't get in to her condo complex at the front entrance gate. He went beyond our basic request which was to remove an old (heavy) TV, dispose of it properly, and replace it with a new one that was in the house still in its original box. When I first called him, he said he might be able to hook up the cable so mom could start watching TV right away, but couldn't promise without seeing it. He was able to hook it all up for her and she's a very happy camper.

The gentleman who checked our house was very professional. We did not require air conditioning work but he found the water leak for us and was very helpful. If in the future I do need air conditioning work I would call GHS.

I had lost electricity in half of my newly purchased home after blowing a 70 amp main fuse when I ran the A/C for the first time. I called Gabe on a Wednesday and made an appointment for the following morning at 8:30. He arrived right on time and quickly ascertained that the previous owner had installed an insufficiently rated main fuse in the main panel. In short time he was able to locate a replacement fuse at an electrical supply store and replaced it in the main panel. He even picked up an extra one and gave me the option of purchasing it for $15. Once the fuse was replaced he evaluated the over 15 year old A/C compressor and determined that it was working properly.
I had recently had the house inspected and the report had noted that the A/C condenser was leaking into the crawl space beneath the house. I was ready to have him replace the leak then and there but, as it is October and the A/C season is winding to a close, he recommended waiting until springtime and offered to repair the leak and tune up the compressor at that time for a very reasonable fee. Gabe was highly professional and courteous and went out of his way to prevent me from spending money unneccesarily. Gabe was straightforward and honest and does the job at a reasonable price. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Recently, Gabe replaced a dimmer switch, fixed a couple of outlets in our bathroom, and came in an emergency situation when part of our house power was out. He's incredibly professional, always a pleasure to work with, and his rates are a huge value for his expertise. He never balks at some of the more minor jobs we ask him over for, and since his expertise runs the gamut from electrical to handyman, we always have him in the back of our mind as the 'first call' to do the work. We highly recommend him.

It was a one-day thing and there were no problems. They were pretty straightforward and asked us specific preferences instead of just going in there and taking over. They were really cautious about how we wanted things set up. Everything is still working great. The price was really reasonable. We would certainly use them again.

The job went well, although the 2-hour estimated time became 4 hours actual, including several trips elsewhere (to get wallboard or plaster I suppose). I was satisfied with the work and the workman (who was not Gabriel Garcia), but was unhappy with the fact that I was quoted a price for $25/hour just before I OK'd the job, but was handed a bill for $35/hour upon completion. When I asked why the price had changed, the workman simply replied that he had "called Gabriel and he told me to charge $35". This seems very unprofessional. If you quote an hourly rate, you should stick to it. Overall, the job cost more than twice what I was expecting. Were it not for this change of rate, I would probably use them again.
Response from G H S
"George who is my employee did this particular job. He explained to the gentlemen before he began that it would be $35 an hour ( our hourly fee for painting and drywall repair). This gentlemen was elderly and hard of hearing, so I can see how there could have been a misunderstanding. I personally don't know a licensed general or electrical contractor who charges less than my company and produces the same quality of work. Please read my other reviews, at GHS we do not bait and switch with our prices."

I like a vendors that cares about the quality of their work. He took extra time to insure he was doing things right, but did not charge extra for that time...we worked from a fixed cost estimate. Good attitude, conscientious, hard-working, cared about developing a business relationship and doing a good job.

I called Gabe Thanksgiving weekend after discovering that our fence was crumbling in some areas. He told me he was out of town for Thanksgiving and could be at my house on Monday to check out the issue. Monday morning he called to let me know he was driving back into town, and set up a time of 3 pm. He showed up at 3 on the button, estimated $300 for labor to repair several areas of the fence and cut back the trees that were growing through the slats in a few areas. He said he'd get back to me with the amount for materials. He called that evening from home depot, gave me the final quote of $425 (the remainder of $125 for materials) and we set a time for Tuesday. He came, at 10:30 as scheduled, and worked until dark, doing a meticulous job of reinforcing the fence and building a new section that was in complete disrepair. He even added a few aesthetic touches, even though earlier we'd only discussed structural. I've never offered to pay for more than a quoted price, but in this case, I felt I received much more than what I was quoted, and paid $475 for the job without being asked. Still an incredible deal for the quality and quantity of work that was done. I would definitely use Gabe again. His work is an incredible value and he is a true professional.

The new unit was a different size than the old passive vent it was replacing, so installation involved framing a new, larger opening to install the ventilator. All went smoothly--Gabriel let me know what hours/days he would work on this. He was punctual and cleaned up afterwards. The unit works perfectly.

I've used Gabe from GHS for the last couple of years. I recently had him over to install recessed lights. As usual he was very efficient and charged a very resonable price. Scope of work installed 8 recessed lights. Gabe was very efficient, punctual, and professional. I would reccomend him to anyone.

Overall the installation went well. The installation took much more time than Gabe anticipated it would. The roof vent was already in place. Gabe and his electrician friend removed the microwave oven and then installed the range hood and connected the hood to the roof vent through the cupboard and ceiling above it. At times the work got a little sloppy and hasty. Originally Gabe quoted me a price of $200 for installation and venting materials. When the ducting and elbows came in at $85, I offered to increase the amount I paid them to $350.
