Description of Work: Far-East Pools jack-hammered and replaced my pool plaster in 2002, he gave me a contract with a 12 year warranty. We had a french gray color added to the mix. The owner stated we would have color graditaions, but our pool looks like the hind quarters of an Apolossa horse, spotted all over. It is now 2011, we are still under warranty, and we have had "nodules" diagnosed, these are areas where the plaster was not mixed properly and it forms a space between layers of the plaster, they appear as little volcanos, I am told that eventually these will cause the plaster to crack off an be very unsightly. I wrote a very nice letter to Far-East owner, asking him to contact me so we can set up an appointmentfor him to come to the house adn take a look and so we can decide the next course of action. He obviously chose not to respond to me, I guess my only recourse is here and Small Claims Court. It's a shame when contractors do not stand behind their work or warranty. I would not recommend this Company at all because of this.
