Our air conditioning went out during one of the hottest days of last year and Enertek, recommended by my husband's aunt, were the only air service that returned our call in a timely manner.  They came out the same day and fixed our unit for LESS than what they had thought it would cost.  They were extremely honest and I would definitely recommend them.  They understood that I had a 4 month old baby and having no air conditioning in the SF Valley was dangerous.  I am thankful that I used them and we haven't had trouble with our machine since.

I interviewed 4 different Angie's list suppliers. Three of the four returned quotes. The other I had to follow up with and still didn't get a call back or quote. All sent their quotes within 72 hrs of our meeting. Three of the four I met with Sales people. I met with Yury Partner in the Enertek firm. His quote was the best. Met with him a second time to review the scope of work to confirm I was comparing "Apple to Apple". Wanted to find out why his quote was several thousand less then the 2nd lowest Normally I throw out the high and low and go with the one in between Now I've dealt with Yury before. He had installed my air unit 14 yrs ago and has serviced my equipment ever since. In reviewing the project and scope of work, the other quotes were including salesman fees. Better known as commissions. With Yury I was dealing with the owner directly. We spoke on installing the units on a Saturday. He spoke with his crew and they agreed to this request. Normally they like to do jobs like this during the week. So, if there is a problem they can get parts to complete the job. I wanted to be here to see the project from start to finish They called approx 1/2 hr. In advance to confirm they were coming and arrived as expected at 8am. This was a two man crew. Yes we ran into a few challenges however they came up with a plan and all went smoothly. We were projecting the work to take longer then one day and complete on Monday. however these two guys worked NON stop, thru lunch to complete the job around 2pm. This is with me asking questions during the process. They answered all with a smile and shared items with me. They laid down floor coverings. And vacuum up after all was completed Now, we did run into 2 major issues. One the motor for the furnace was defective and so was the WIFI thermostat. The owner came to the house to check on things. This was the first time he has had 2 major items go bad. He personally would address this and have his crew back on Monday to fix it all. Wanted no payments until I was completely happy with the job I would not hesitate to work with his firm and or recommend Enertek to anyone else. The service , price and commitment to ensure I was happy

I was very happy that it was such a small thing and not a major fix for the unit but also a little embarrassed because I was the one who had taped the filter down and the tape had come loose and gotten up into the fan.  The gentleman that came out was very nice about it and as we were in the middle of a terrible heat wave, he had made time in his busy schedule for my appointment.  We have used Enertek in the past and we will use them again.

The gentleman who answered by phone call was pleasant and seemed anxious to get someone out to help me as quickly as possibl  The repair technician was polite and efficient and save me the cost of a new A/C unit and I was very happy to receive such prompt service. I used this same company to install a different A/C ( Lenox) unit for our upstairs about 4 or 5 years ago.  Again they were polite, efficient, offered the lowest price and I've had. no problems with the unit.

They fixed our AC unit last year. Our Lennox unit developped a leak and some expensive part inside the unit had to be replaced. The part was still under warranty so I called a bunch of companies and asked them to order the part and repair the unit. No body wanted to go through this hassle except Enertek. Other companies even tried to charge for the processing fee. Enertek ordered the part, and fixed our AC unit which saved us a lot of time and money. Today we called them again because our AC unit stopped working due to what seemed to be a blown fuse. We talked to them in the morning, and the problem was taken care of by noon. First weI called around trying to save money on an estimate but nobody could beat their price. They charged us $65 for a diagnosis fee and $2 for a blown fuse. They are nice people and also professional. We are very glad that now we have a good furnace company to work with in our area.

They were very helpful on the phone when I initially called them, Andre even tried to help me over the phone by giving me suggestions. They scheduled me in for the very next day. They arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Yuri was very friendly and professional. I definitely plan to call them in the future for any AC servicing I might need.

They had to remove and move upward all ducts and other lines connected to the furnace in order to make room to install the new, large filter in the most appropriate location. They did this quickly and easily. There were no problems. Every thing went well.

They are very reliable. I think they offer you alternative options to fix things - they won't tell you that you need to get something replaced, but instead offer to repair an item to make it last longer. They've always been very professional. It's a small family run business, not a large company that I'll continue to use.

The owner of my apartment building decided to replace the entire A/C system, which was very old, anyway. I contacted several companies listed on Angie's and got estimates for her, since she lives in another state. One company never returned my phone calls. The other two companies gave estimates in the $4500 to $5000 range. Andre at Enertek offered to do the work for less than $4000, incl. a discount for cash and having done other work in the building. After a few days wait while he ordered the necessary parts, they called and said they would be here at 9am yesterday. They were here at 9:10am, which I was very impressed with. They put down protective tarps on the carpet, and went right to work. By 4:30pm I was enjoying the refreshing icy breeze of a new AC / heat pump unit (note to catholic church: James Carrier should be sainted.) Both times they were here (same guys) they arrived promptly, and if you've ever waited for a contractor to arrive, you KNOW that is impressive. They did great work, cleaned up after themselves and hauled away the old equipment. Andre was great to deal with, and very nice on the phone. The owner of my Apt is pleased with the price she got, and me and my cats are happy not to be sitting in a hot Apt.

I am a tenant in a rented condo, and the owner suggested I call Enertek, as they have done other work in the building. They said they would be here between 11am and 2pm and they were here at 11, so points for promptness. The A/C was low on freon. The going price for R-22 freon is $30 / lb, and that's what they charged. The discussed the age of the unit (ancient) with me and that it may have a leak. Since the unit is like 40 years old, it may need to be replaced. While on the roof, they pointed out other units they have replaced. The unit blew nice and cold after adding the freon. I did not need to use the A/C for the next week, and when I turned it on last night, it was blowing warm air again, so that means this unit has departed for the great cooling tower in the sky. They are coming back tomorrow to give an estimate on replacing the whole thing. I will post again after this experience.

Andre came over to give us an estimate the day I called him. I had a fully detailed (and very reasonable quote) by that evening. The work that was done was outstanding, and they were in and out in a couple of days. Even came by while we were re-doing the roof to install the vent, so they wouldn't have to cut through the new roof.

Needed to change out a package unit on one of my properties recently, this was the only company I considered! They do all of my maintenance on heating and air. Problem-free to deal with for the last ten years.
