Cornerstone Construction & Retrofitting

During a property inspection, the inspector found a supporting post missing at where two girders meet under the raised foundation.   Cornerstone is the company recommended by the inspector.  Called up the owner Tom and he told me to email him the inspection report on the post.  He came over on Sat and did his own inspection.  He explained to me what should be done.  His crew showed up on-time on the day of the repair.  While they were clearing away the dirt to make room for the new cement block the crew discovered a 'underpin' already in place which reduced the amount of work they have to do.  Because of that, Tom offered to reduce the price because his crew did not have to do the work quoted.  That was a pleasant surprise to me.  It never happened like that before. 
I am very happy with the work done by Cornerstone.   I feel much better about the structure of the property.  Tom treated his customer fairly and I know I don't have to second guess his recommendation, his expertise and pricing when I deal with him.  I would recommend him to anybody who have problems with the foundation.
