We booked them to come out and repair some broken stairs at our apartment building, they gave us a 2 to 3 week window to start the job, reluctantly I said ok.
A few days later a tenant fell down the broken stairs, I now have and emergency on my hands, I called Western Mag / Alda Stairs again to see if they could make a concession for my serious problem, they said no way they are just too busy, so I cancelled with them (2 weeks prior) and found a different company to fix the stairs that same week for a much better price. So about 6 months later I had another stair repair so I called them to see if they were available, So Bernard asks me, aren't you the guy who cancelled on us 6 months ago? I was shocked that for such a huge company they would even remember me, especially when I cancelled two weeks in advance. He basically told me they don't tolerate cancellations and to call the other company back that did my work before, and he hung up on me. Wow! I was blown away, so I gladly called the other company and they are servicing all of my units now.

Install process was good. It was scheduled to take 1 week and it took 2 weeks due to the extensive amount of damage they found after they pulled up the old tile. There was incremental cost of the additional repairs. I thought the incremental costs were fair generally. The people repairing the balcony seemed to know exactly what they were doing which put me at ease. They were very customer oriented and were responsive to my requests. The finished product looks great and I hope the balcony holds up in the rain. We'll find out soon.
Overall, very professional, good customer service, responsive to customer requests, and focused on providing a great end product.
