One of the main reasons I decided to meet with Spazio LA Designs for my Master bathroom remodel, was not only because of the beautiful work I saw online, but also because of the great reviews by their past clients. And after working with David, and completing my project, they deserved every star and then some!! I've worked with many companies prior to Spazio LA Designs and they were by far the best! In fact they exceeded my expectations. Not only was everyone with the company and at the office extremely friendly and professional, but when I worked with David, I could feel personal interest he took in every detail of my project and always felt in good hands. I was also always kept updated and informed on what was going on and what to expect. Every worker not only did exemplary work, but was also friendly, respectful, and professional. Project managers were routinely on site making sure everything went smoothly. I even ended up unexpectedly doing additional work in my Master bedroom and living room because the work was so good. This company can do anything. I'm actually sad that its all over...for now. lol In short, Spazio LA Designs not only does high end work, but also delivers a high end experience from start to finish. They surpassed my expectations and gave me my dream bathroom. I highly recommend them for any project, and look forward to working with them in the future.

SpazioLA is wonderful!! We needed a bathroom and garage remodel done quickly. SpazioLA was on time and on budget and we could not be happier! My husband and I bought our first home together last December and were so excited at the possibility of modernizing it. After a grueling interview process with 8 companies, we met with Essi from Spazio LA and are so happy we did! From the beginning, my husband and I were incredibly impressed with his ideas and attention to detail on ways to modernize our home. Our friends and family warned us what a daunting process remodeling can be and we had none of those feelings. Date of project - August through December 2017. Cost over 100,000. I could not have been happier with the quality of work accomplished by SPAZIO, the commitment to making us feel comfortable and answering our questions patiently and thoroughly and the responsiveness to any question, emergency, etc. Our project was long, expensive and very involved. It required lots of coordination among people, such as, architects, engineers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, electricians, and on and on. All the work was done efficiently and seamlessly. Suggestions given to us for vendors to use was also excellent and the materials used were top notch. SPAZIO and Essi (CEO and project manager) were able to keep a good cost/benefit balance so we got, 'the biggest bang for our buck.' I recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation. Pretty much on budget and on time!!!!!

3 years ago I hired Essi Safti (SpazioLA) to remodel my full bath. Bath was totally gutted and re-designed. Essi and his team did such a beautiful job that when my girlfriend was in need of a kitchen remodel there was only one company that I recommended....Spazio. I've never met anyone who takes such a hands-on approach to their work. Essi met with both of us and did a fantastic job of guiding us through the process. They did a great job with customizing her (my girlfriend) ideas with the the space she had. We were trying to accomplish a lot of change with a relatively tight budget and from the beginning Essi and David from Spazio LA were the only team we interviewed that were confident they could do it within budget and in significantly less time than other architect/contractors. We wanted to find a way to keep the footprint of our house, not adding square footage, but rather reconfigure the rooms to use the space more efficiently and more closely aligned with how we live and use the space. We turned a two bedroom home with a tiny awkward kitchen, small dining room and seldom used living space into a 3 bedroom home with open concept living/dining/kitchen and a master bedroom suite. At our first meeting with Essi and David they were offering well thought out ideas for how to reconfigure the space and made us feel comfortable undertaking our first remodel. Their architect, Raffi, worked with us to rework the floor plan and was responsive to our ideas as well as looking at our needs and offering well thought out solutions. Essi supervised our project every step of the way and stayed in communication every day via phone calls, emails and countless texts. We relied heavily on Essi as a designer to help us make choices on materials, colors and fixtures. His vendors were all affordable, yet high quality, and easy to work with. Essi went with us to many of the vendors as our designer and offered suggestions that were lovely and sophisticated yet kept in mind our budget. Our project was managed incredibly efficiently, there were only a couple of days over a four month period where there wasn’t some team working on our house. They were also very good about keeping the mess and dust contained as we lived in the house during the remodel. All the teams of workers were attentive, accommodating and friendly. You can tell Essi and Spazio LA treat them well as they’re all loyal and hard working. I also appreciate Spazio’s approach of specialized teams of workers that know their craft as opposed to a team of workers who all do a little bit of everything. The tile team was amazing and the wood floor installers/finishers did especially good work. Our neighbors have commented on how friendly and considerate they all were with waves and smiles and positive attitudes throughout the process. When the inevitable problems or mistakes happened, Essi always responded right away and would reassure us “don’t worry, we’ll make it right” and he delivered every single time, even if it meant him coming over himself on a Saturday morning, power tools in hand to fix something for us. We’re extremely happy with our remodel and have already been recommending Spazio LA, Essi and David to friends and co-workers looking to do any size of project. We didn’t change addresses but it feels like we moved back into a completely new home that’s beautiful, light, airy, well thought out and built with care. Spazio LA was great to work with, stuck to the original budget (no surprise costs), they completed the project within the timeframe they quoted. Basically unheard of! I had a great time working with Essi and the team. The work they did turned out beautifully and we basically have a brand new home that we LOVE! A few of things I appreciated the most about working with Spazio LA were: GREAT IDEAS - Essi came up with an idea to change the layout of our home that we never would have thought of on our own. It literally doubled the size of our bathroom and gave us additional desperately needed storage space! GREAT COMMUNICATION - It's as if Essi is sitting by his phone waiting for me to call, text or email. Seriously. His response time was amazing and any questions or issue were addressed very quickly. Frankly, I'm going to miss texting with the guy. QUALITY WORK - Essi's team does beautiful work. Plain and simple. Overall we are delighted with our new home and are already beginning to refer Spazio LA to our friends and family!

Exceptionally talented company. We recently moved to California and had previous experience with a kitchen renovation in another state and although that had been handled well, the Spazio renovation was easier on us because of their cooperative approach and their design concepts. We worked with Essi and his team, and their staff support was outstanding, and made a significant difference in the outcome. Their attention to details, and the focus on making it come out right distinguished them from other companies. Their design ideas were excellent, and they worked with us to make sure it also met our needs. We ended up with a stunningly beautiful kitchen that is bright, happy and with great storage and work space. The staff worked hard and long hours which helped complete the project on schedule and within budget in a little over 5 weeks, and it was so helpful to minimize the inconvenience of living in a new house without a kitchen. They were consistently thoughtful in helping us avoid the stress of a major renovation. The finished product is excellent. In a space that not everyone thought could accommodate an island, we have an island with storage and designed to allow movement on all sides. Our lovely little breakfast nook is a gem, and the incorporated extra storage space was an extra benefit. Essi took us to the different companies for selection of the various products, tile, backsplash, counter, flooring etc., and his eye for these choices helped us make these several decisions. We decided on custom cabinetry and the project all fit together beautifully. Essi worked closely with their hand-picked electrician, plumbers, and various installers who were all very careful and obviously skilled. Essi was available by text, phone and e-mail 24/7 and every night verified the project plans for the next day. He made us feel our project was special, although we know he had many other larger renovations and projects. This was an outstanding experience because of the thoughtfulness, diligence and knowledge Essi and the company brought to our kitchen renovation.

About a year ago my wife and I got serious about doing a remodel to our 1,630 square foot home. We initially were looking to add a closet to my son's room and create a master bath with a dual vanity. We liked one of the contractors we had interviewed but thought we would give one more a try... Spazio LA. Well, let's just say that our little idea of a closet became something much, much more. When we first met Essi and David, of Spazio, we clicked almost immediately. The vibes were good! Essi was talking to us about the scope of the work and David was listening until he wandered away for a bit. We kept discussing things with Essi and then David returned only to say that he knew what the plan was going to be. So, we listened, and were simply blown away with his vision and plan for our home. The estimate for the job was very reasonable and after they left my wife and I knew that we were going forward with Essi and David. We felt bad for the other contractor, and let him down easy, but the vision that Spazio had was just too good of an option to pass on. We started the long journey back in June 2016 and recently finished here in April 2017. We had architectural plans drawn up and were given a couple of options to choose from before going forward. We chose the option that best suited our needs and were off and running. After city permits were pulled, and everything was approved, we were given a 3 to 4 month window for job completion. Even with all the rain California received this year we stayed on schedule. You should know that we chose to stay in the front portion of our house while the remodel was going on. The cost savings was immense and we toughed it out over that 4-month period. It wasn't easy, especially with two kids under the age of 5, but Spazio did everything in their power to make us comfortable. Now that it's all over we can breathe easier and really enjoy our new home! We ended up adding about 300 square feet. That included a new family room off the kitchen with an entertainment center and barn doors (so cool), an entirely new hallway design which included access to all three bedrooms, a master suite redesign including a brand new walk-in closet and Zen inspired master bath, a new bedroom, new location of our washer and dryer (in the newly designed hallway), and a new entry/exit door to the backyard! We ended up getting all new copper pipes, a new AC unit, a new furnace, a brand new roof, new engineered hardwood flooring, a beautiful skylight in our master bath, and the list goes on. I also want to mention that Essi and David were never, ever pushy about anything, and always respected our decisions. Any decision made was our own. They always stayed very professional and diplomatic throughout the entire process. My wife and I were very hands on throughout, and can be quite persnickety at times, but were always treated with the utmost respect from everyone associated with Spazio. From the plumber, to the electrician, to the roofers, to the painters, to the hardwood floor installers, everyone was respectful, pleasant, and absolutely great at what they specialize in! I honestly can't say enough about this company. My wife and I were looking for people that we could trust and we knew from the very beginning that our remodel was going to be done right. Essi and David played different roles throughout the process but were always so responsive with text, email, and/or phone calls. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in their work, look no further, and schedule an appointment with Spazio LA! I can assure you that you will be overjoyed with the results when all is said and done. Well, I think it's time for me to wrap up this review... I have to go enjoy my new house! I couldn't be happier with my new Mid-Century modern kitchen and all the absolutely impeccable work Carissa, David, and the Spazio crews did to make it all come together. Not only am I inspired every morning and night as I work in my kitchen, but it's been over a month, and everything still looks and feels brand new! Finally the day had come when I realized I had enough of my current out-dated kitchen. My neighbor had just finished a gorgeous Mid-Century Modern remodel with Carissa from Spazio and I knew she was the one I needed to collaborate with during my own process. Still, I did get other bids from contractors to compare, which were almost a joke compared with the absolute class, professionalism, price and value I was getting from Spazio; I knew they were the one to take me into this remodel journey. From day one, a schedule was created and into day 15 all the way through the end, it was followed. Carissa knew I had high-end taste and was able to really listen and understand my aesthetic wish list as well as my function needs for much more storage! She took me to the best showrooms and worked with Art, Spazio's highly-skilled custom cabinet maker to design the most gorgeous custom, rift cut walnut cabinetry and layout. She made sure every detail such as grain direction, stain color, finish was perfect for me. This attention to detail happened with all of her tradesmen so that everything was as perfect as possible. When anything came up (as it always does) during the construction process, Carissa, David and the rest of their crews were on it to make it right. I couldn't really have asked for anything more. If you want a company who cares and does beautiful high-end work, I highly recommend Spazio! Thank you, Carissa for helping me take my dreams into reality!

I remodeled two bathrooms last year with another contractor and it was an absolute nightmare! That being said, when I decided to renovate my kitchen I was extremely hesitant to begin the process. I was very fortunate to have hired Spazio LA for the job because it ended up being a stress-free and very positive experience. My Interior Designer/Project Manager, Carissa Donsker and was exceptional! I knew I couldn’t do the design and management process alone again, and she coordinated and managed the entire project from beginning to end. Carissa suggested ideas, layout, materials and colors and made the best use of my limited space. Her keen eye to detail was impeccable. Carissa was available 24/7, responded to emails promptly and was at my home every day to meet with the subcontractors. If there was an issue, Carissa would problem solve and come up with a solution immediately. I was also very impressed that she was always making sure that everything was done in the allotted amount of time. Spazio estimated that the project would take approximately six weeks and I was moving back into my kitchen at six weeks. At the end of the project, I was informed by Spazio that I had an overpayment and they would be reimbursing me within the next few days. I was extremely impressed with their honesty. This is another true testament to their wanting to do what is right for the customer. I never thought before meeting them that the word honest and contractor even existed! Everyone who visits my home compliments my beautiful kitchen. I would definitely recommend Spazio LA, and of course Carissa Donsker as your Lead Designer and Project Manager, because of the unbelievable service I received. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome and would not hesitate to hire them again for my next renovation.

We hired Spazio to do a full kitchen renovation, interior painting, floor refinishing and electrical work. Lisa was our project manager and couldn't have done a better job seeing the project through, managing the schedule and multiple contractors, sending us daily updates and photos, putting together designs and suggestions. We are a dual earner household and both work long hours during the week, and we were so grateful that we could lean on Lisa to see the work through. She also immediately understood the style we wanted and did the heavy lifting in finding all the elements (lighting, tiles, cabinet pulls, faucets, the list goes on...) to make it all match and fit. She was sensitive to our budget and helped us problem solve situations to make them fit into our budget. Probably the highlight of our work with Lisa was when she found and recommended the tile backsplash - the design is stunning, and she found a way to make this tile work within our budget. We hope to do work in the future in our bathrooms and will ask for Lisa again!

Spazio and Hela are the bomb! Period. Just call them. But in case you want to read more: We hired Spazio to help remodel our master bathroom. We have worked with various contractors in the past (with varying degrees of success), but we really wanted this bathroom to shine. We thought a design/build firm might be the way to go. But after a few meetings, we found very few companies can actually help with the design part and the build part. But Hela, our project manager, was amazing at both. She helped us create a stunning design and managed all of the work crews. The project cost was reasonable and they never tried to increase the bid, even as things changed. Hela was always upfront about costs and she helped give us advice on where to spend and where to save. We were treated like royalty when we went to pick out fixtures, and Hela got us great discounts. We will definitely work with Spazio again. Our new master bathroom is gorgeous!

We had Spazio LA remodeled our home several years back and had an amazing experience, our home turned out great but we ran out of money to do what we wanted to do in our backyard. This year we saved enough to create our dream backyard, so we called Essi and David again and they didn't disappoint. We wanted to create a really modern backyard with tropical plants and a pool with Jacuzzi and a sun deck. Spazio LA's team created an amazing design and pull the proper permits, within two weeks we were digging the new pool. Everything went so fast, and in 2months our backyard was ready to enjoy. We are enjoying our new backyard paradise with our family everyday. Thanks again Spazio!

Our kitchen was dark and old, gross is the best word to describe it actually. We had been dreaming of an open kitchen and dinning area to accommodate our growing family, but after so many interior design companies telling us what they wanted to for our home and not listening to what we wanted, we felt like we were going to be stuck with a "gross" kitchen forever. We contacted Spazio LA after reading their reviews and seeing their work on Houzz, couldn't have been a better thing to do. They actually listened to our ideas and gave us what we have always wanted. Without Spazio LA the next step would have been selling our family home and that was just not an option.

Overall the experience was less stressful than I had expected going into this. From Ellen at the office returning any calls all the way to Essi with my crazy design ideas,  the whole team was very friendly and professional. I never doubted my decision to remodel nor the decision to use Spazio LA. We love our new back yard and only wish that we made the jump sooner to remodel our exterior.

We contracted with Spazio LA (Essi and David) to remodel our formal dining and sitting area. Their team is very professional all throughout the project. Both Essi and David are very responsive to our questions and concern (at all times). We also added a new wet bar which Essi designed and picked out a beautiful countertop. He also helped us in selecting floor tile (and grout color to match). David guided us through the remodeling every step. He always checked to make sure the work is completed to their excellent standard and our satisfaction. Overall, we will not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

We started out with a basic idea of what we wanted to
remodel in our Master Suite, Hallway and Guest Bathroom. We called a number of
contractors to look at the space and give us bids on the job. Spazio LA (David
& Essi) quickly setup a meeting and spent over an hour with us to hear what
we needed to have done and some of the challenges (timing and pets) that needed
to be accommodated. Spazio LA was prompt with their follow-up and provided a
detailed written bid and quote for the job. The bid contained detailed
information of job and an all-inclusive quote. We added electrical work in the
Master Bedroom and a new humidity sensor fan. Spazio LA was not the least
expensive quote we received but the level of professionalism, the comfort we
felt with both David and Essi sealed the deal. Spazio LA provided needed
licenses and insurance documentation so we did not have to continually
follow-up with them.
David took the time to explain everything in the contract,
the process, the projected timeline, and answer all of our questions to ensure we
understood everything.
All crews and trades were on time or early for their portion
of the project. They took care to protect the entryway and hardwood floors
leading into the Hallway and Master Suite and installing dust barriers to keep
the dust from the rest of the house. David was fantastic about communicating
and returning calls, texts, and messages promptly. We liked the fact that both
he and Essi were great about communicating with us about who we were expecting,
what time they were expected to arrive, and walking us through the entire
process.
The entire job took about 2.5 weeks that included all of the
punch list completion items. This another pleasant experience having work done
in our home. When we are ready for our next project, we will call Spazio LA.

I hired Essi and David to remodel 2 small bathrooms and add a new bathroom and closet to my master bedroom.  From the first consultation we had with them, we felt incredibly comfortable and excited to bring them on to do the projects we had in mind.  


 The 2 remodels were super quick and easy and made a huge difference in the aesthetics of the house.  We have a contemporary interior and now the two bathrooms match that theme.  We then added on a bathroom onto the master bedroom as well as a a pretty solid walk in closet.  This process took a few months and during that time I had a lot of interaction with both David and Essi.  These guys are truly awesome.  Aside from being really nice guys, they were incredibly attentive to our project and were quick to respond to any and all questions or concerns I had along the way.  They are a pleasure to work with and have a really great eye for design.  The 3-d renderings were incredibly impressive and were virtually identical to the final product.  Looking back at the renderings its hard to tell the difference between them and the final pictures upon completion.  I would definitely work with the guys again and highly recommend them for both new construction as well as remodels!
