Called SoCal Tech since they are an authorized Sony repair referral. Talked to Chris and we were able to troubleshoot on the phone. He ordered a hard-to-get board. The part was quoted and ordered the same day. The part arrived yesterday and they scheduled a "next day" appt for the repair. The technician came on time today at noon, and replaced the part in 10 minutes. He also took all the trash with him. My techie son was so impressed with his efficiency and thoroughness.
I'm happy. This was an easy such an easy experience and everyone at SoCal Tech was helpful and responsive!
