The sales person was extremely friendly. I had done some shopping around and found a slightly better price for the baseboards that I wanted. I informed the sales person of the price and he was able to match it. Good customer service is not dead.1 You can find it here.

The short of it... I purchased baseboards at the Moulding Center. The customer service I received here was friendly and professional from start to finish. My wife and I walked in and had time to look around before being approached. When we were approached Mr. Rodger was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions. The selection was pretty much in line with the other three places I looked at. The price was competitive. The friendliness encountered at this location was much different than the other three place I visited because they actually had customer service. The other three places pretty much ignored me. Even the warehouse guy that loaded the baseboards onto my vehicle had a great attitude. We will definitely shop here again (we're expecting to buy door and window trim).

My kitchen cabinet builder gave me the item number for the crown molding he picked out for my kitchen. He told me to go to the Molding Center to see what it looked like and to pick out a different molding if I so desired. My first impression walking in was "oooh" and "look at thaaaat...." as I slowly took in all the beautiful moldings and other carved pieces of wood, wood appliqu s, etc. You can't find this selection, quality or pricing at some of the other home improvement stores! This is a well of creativity. The item number my builder gave me was wrong, which began my first of FOUR visits to the Molding Center to make a decision. The employees were Sooo helpful and PATIENT! I basically took a class in molding from them. Did you know crown molding has two separate height measurements? Well it does! My dilemma was trying to find a decorative molding that I loved but that wasn't overboard with my cabinets. (And they had sooo many beautiful decorative moldings to choose from.) But the employees all helped me. (I went there four times, remember?!) They all are warm and friendly and really enjoy serving the customer. OH! AND EVERYONE GETS A DISCOUNT depending on how much you purchase! Its not just for the contractors that come in repeatedly. And this is the place contractors come. So I'll go back when I'm re-finishing a dresser and want to dress it up with appliqu s, or update my fireplace mantel, or put crown molding through my house. It's such a great place to create. Oh, and it has a water cooler AND a customer restroom. Comes in handy when you're there for a while ladies...
