I had my galvanized/ferric oxide pipe replaced with copper by New-Pipe (see my review), who discovered that the wall behind my shower was severely water damaged, and poorly constructed. Micheal gave me the name of Minas, who he recommended as a great tile man. Minas called me within hours, and we made a date for him to come over and look at the work later that day. Minas is a soft spoken man who is friendly, amiable, and never threatening. He gave me a great quote, and i checked it against other contractors on Angie's list. I OK'd his work the next day. When he came out, I sat down and jotted down all the work we had agreed we'd do, what I would provide (I bought the tile at Home Depot), and the price we agreed on, and we both signed and dated it. This was our contract. Minas arrived with two pleasant individuals who raced into work! All three are Armenian, and although Minas' English is excellent, the other two mainly spoke another language. They were both pleasant, however, even though my dog tried to bite one of them on the b***. Minas worked along side the other two, inspecting and checking their work. He was on the job at all times unless he needed to get supplies. He supplied plywood, grout (we selected oyster grey from a big pallete of his colors), cement, wonder board, backerboard, drywall, etc. He brought out a tile saw and cut tile to fit rooms and around fixtures. At the end of each day, the three of them cleaned up and carted away trash. The only week day i could be around was Friday, so he started early Friday morning by our agreement. The best news was that the three worked so hard and so fast that the entire job was finished by 1:00 pm Sunday (about 2 1/2 days total). We were ecstatic. Problems: I asked Minas to do some more finishing on a bathroom wall, which he did with no problem. Afterward, a tiny plastic part on the shower was turned around, leaving us with no hot water. I called Minas, he came out after I arrived home from work and fixed it in 5 minutes, to my satisfaction.
