Metal Fabrication and Restoration
5/2/07: we took 54 pieces of door hardward to be cleaned and polished. They included: 14 brass knobs w/ internal tightening screws; 14 brass door knob trim pieces; 4 door latches w/ attached plate covers; 2 door latch brass covers; 8 brass striker plates and 12 brass cabinet knobs. Joe did a wonderful job in making these all look like new. His price of $225.00 was well worth it. It also beat his competitors by about 50%. He took a lot of pride in his work; wrapped each piece individually to protect them.
8/2011: we went back to him with the two tarnished wall heater grates. Another fantastic job. $45 each, which at the time I thought was high, but they still look like new today.
