They are complete con artists and have been told that the carnage they left on my roof is criminal- which I am going to pursue. Not only did they take $4300 from me for emergency roof repairs- I was told by Robert- who was the one who I dealt with that he bought new tiles at Home Depot to replace damaged tiles only to find out Home Depot doesn't even sell the tiles (special order only), they did NONE of the work promised/paid for in written contract AND the best part which I just discovered- they removed a large section of my tiles, at least 4x6' and LEFT IT THAT WAY- with roof fully exposed!!! The extent of their work was taking silver tape and taping together a few tiles, and left their trash up there after.. My roof is large and the area they were "working" on is not visible from any point other than on the roof. The roof continued to leak after they were here- I called and complained, he came out a total of 2 times without fixing the problem. I was told I needed a WHOLE NEW roof and he would discount the $4300 I had already paid. At that point I knew I was being scammed. Nice guy- scam a single Mom days before Christmas!! ****They also go by the name Reliable Roofing (same address on invoice as Reliable listed in Yellow pages).. I made a HUGE/COSTLY error calling them from the yellow pages in emergency situation- please don't make the same.. **** I listed this under paving also as they seem to advertise that as well.
Description of Work: They were called to repair a roof leak- found them in yellow pages as emergency roof repair. Originally wanted them to come tarp leak area as it was getting late in day and raining heavily. Instead was told it could be repaired and recvd' invoice for following repairs: remove tile, add new base sheet, add new flashing, add new 40 pound felt, replace tile, seal tile as needed and ridge patch tile and valley- total charge $4300.00 I just discovered that NONE of this was done- the only thing he did was remove tiles, and place bright silver tape across cracks in a few tiles. I wish I could add pictures here- it is horrific. I did follow up with "Robert" who came out as the roof continued to leak- he made 2 follow up appt.s to come back and did not show up as planned until the 3rd time I called him following his initial work. When he did come back he told me that he did all he could and that the entire roof needed to be replaced and he would need more money to do more.
