DELTA FIRE PROTECTION

I recently used Delta Fire Protection to install sprinklers in my new home in LA. They did a competent job, but made two important mistakes. Though they came back to correct their errors, the fix involved cutting out finished drywall to get at sprinkler heads that were incorrectly installed. I then had to redo that drywall, its trim, and re-paint an entire ceiling. All that cost me money and Delta absolutely refused to own up to their responsibility by adjusting their bill to me. It was a simple matter of doing the right thing, but they denied, to the end, any responsibility for their mistakes, even threatening to file a lien when I refused to pay in full the original contract. Our argument continued when they filed a small claims case against me, because, according to them, they went to small claims "all the time" and usually "got what they wanted" -- hardly a ringing endorsement for their business practices. I would look elsewhere for this trade.
