Received an initial estimate from owner and general contractor Oscar Pitti, who was very thorough and knowledgeable in his evaluation recommendations. The work was scheduled within a few days. The crew (Ramiro, Alex, Tommy) was very professional, organized and exceptionally neat. Oscar came on to the job site each morning and each afternoon to supervise and oversee the quality of the work. All light fixtures, towel rods and draperies were removed prior to painting the walls and ceilings. The floors were covered with heavy duty paper. All of the furnishings were moved away from the walls and covered with tarps. All holes in the walls were patched. Wallpaper was removed from 2 bathrooms and one bedroom. The bathrooms (which were initially in oil base) required sanding and priming. The acoustic ceilings in both bedrooms were painted in addition to the walls. Two coats of paint were applied. The electrical outlets in both bathrooms were replaced with safety outlets to comply with current code. They fixed one broken light switch that had a short circuit and fixed a broken bathroom fan. After the paint was dry, all of the original light fixtures were replaced and the draperies were rehung. The furniture was moved back where it belonged. New switch plate covers were put on on the light switches and electrical outlets throughout. Everything was cleaned up and spotless after the work was completed. The outcome is immaculate, perfectionistic and it now looks like a model home. I couldn't be more satisfied with the job. And even though the job ended up taking longer than anticipated, there were no extra charges beyond the original estimate.
