RB General Contracting

RB General Contracting came highly recommended from two families that had major kitchen remodels completed.  The projected was supposed to simply be a new garage.   However the project blossomed into many other things that needed either updating or simply overhauled.  As a general contractor Aaron is a rare breed.  He is very hands on, very forthright and a real partner, especially if you have never had any construction experience.
The garage is an oversized structure; high ceilings, steep pitch and large door opening.  Also, I had very specific requirements as I wanted it overbuilt, insulated, drywalled and painted.  Aaron was more then willing to accommodate.  His crew was fantastic throughout the process.  Prior to actual construction, I worked closely with an architect as to exactly what I wanted.  However, drawings and the actual constructions can be two different things.  This is where clients and GC's tend to get sideways with one another.  However, with Aaron, he was great about discussing options and not simply imposing his wishes.   Again, a real partner.  The garage turned out to be a real work of art.  Not only was I thrilled with the final product but the neighbors who had reservations due to its size, were all very complimentary upon completion as the scale and design aspects (tutor architecture) were consistent with the main residence.
RB's work was so good I figured I'd keep them around.  Again, Aaron could have easily been working multiple projects leaving my projects with a skeleton crew.  He didn't.  He had a full crew each and everyday.  As such, each project was done in the allotted time.
The garage project moved to remodeling a sun deck and the patio.  Both projects were done on time and with great attention to detail.  One very nice touch that earned compliments was the bead board installed on the underside of the deck/ceiling of the patio.
Once construction concluded, I had RB install a new grey concrete stamped cobble stone driveway.  Again, keeping to the English tutor architecture.  Another fine touch that set the house apart from the others in our neighborhood.
I then had Aaron move his crew indoors to work on two bathroom. One bath was a simple facelift; new window, new tile floor and new vanity.  The other was much more involved with rerouting of all the plumbing.  This project was much more "off the cuff" with great collaboration between my wife, myself and Aaron.  Again, if not for Aaron's fantastic ability to communicate well, this could have been a train wreck.  The result was a luxury bathroom that exceeded our expectations.  
Lastly, we moved Aaron and his crew downstair for a living remodel, fireplace installation, new front door installation and hardwood floor refinish.  Again, on time, on budget, and simply stunning.
