EDS' STUMP GRINDING

Ed was referred by a tree service company who did not have the right equipment to remove the stump in my backyard. He gave me a very fair price and responded right away. Ed removed a large palm tree stump that was in a tight spot. He did a wonderful job and was very careful to protect nearby windows. Ed also did a thorough job with clean-up. Ed has been in business over 20 years and has two grinding machines for different types of jobs. I would highly recommend!

The trees had been cut down previously but the stumps stood above the ground. Two years ago we had a stump grinder come in who had a hand held grinder which did next to nothing. On the surface it appeared as though the stump was ground down but if you removed the sawdust, the trump was still above ground level. Ed came in with larger and more professional equipment.
Ed dug the area out surrounding the stump and ground down a good 12 inches. Both stumps had large roots that were spread out along the surface and so he also dug out around them and grinded them down too.
He completed the job the way it's supposed to be completed. A good stump grinder will grind down at least six inches below grade.
Ed went above and beyond our expectations. He's a really nice guy too!

Ed was great! He was able to do the job according to my schedule. The stump was huge and took about 3 hours to remove, and was removed with great care to ensure that nothing was damaged (for example: my cars, my house windows, existing sprinkler/water lines). I later hired him to completely re-landscape my front yard, and now my yard is and quot;the buzzand quot; on the street. Ed did a great job, was very kind, was very reasonable and up front with his prices, and I would hire him again for anymore tree work or landscaping needs in the future.
