Took truck in on a Tues. because the A/C system has required a quick charge every year for the past 5 years. Ask Hank to look for the leak. Hank advised that sometimes it is less expensive to do a quick charge than it is to fix the problem. He would let me know after inspecting the system. On Wed. morning Hank called to let me know that the compressor was totally gone (refrigerant leaking from around the front nut) and would have to be replaced. The cost would be between $700 and $800 dollars. After giving Hand the go ahead, he said he would order a compressor and try to have it done by Thurs. It was finished early Fri. morning.
