Very well. Mr. Hennessy arrived early, began work immediately and finished ahead of schedule. His work was professional and he cleaned up before leaving. The replaced damaged blocks matched the old wall.

Pat did an excellent job, went above and beyond and was a pleasure to work with. He was on time, finished the job when he said it would be done and I was not asked to pay for any labor or materials until the job was complete. It was done the old fashioned way, on a hand shake.

Pat gave me practical insight and asked all of the right questions during a Saturday appointment. He and his wife are very pleasant and accommodating. The work was top-notch. They cleaned up each day, worked clean, and had very minimal impact on our lives! He started the job within a week of me accepting his bid (which was the lowest bid). He finished well within the time we agreed on. I felt very confident with the project in their hands. Absolutely will use them again and recommend them to friends/ family.

This company is amazing. I got the name from Angie's List. They seemed to be the only masons near me on Angie's list who does it all. I gave them a call, and Betsy told me they don't normally work out this way but took pity on me and sent her husband out to give me an estimate. Pat was very professional, personable, gave me a quick estimate after looking and thinking the job over, and set up an appointment. He was early, got the job done in a short period of time and went on to his next job. Excellent work. I couldn't ask for a better company and people to work with. They did me a big favor by coming out to Redlands for this small job, and it is much appreciated. Thanks Betsy and Pat.

As a contractor myself, I'm unusually critical of contractors. Pat was absolutely professional, fast, and fairly priced. The best quality that I could have hoped for! Work was beautiful and finished in half the time I expected. We are extremely happy and would highly recommend him to anyone- commercial or residential!

Pat responded quickly to the message I left him here on Angie's list. Came out and surveyed the work needed and gave me a quote the next day. He completed all the work in two days. Pat's a great guy and his work is excellent. He's pays attention to all details and go's the extra mile to do a great job. He even hauled away for me some heavy cement post foundations I had laying on the side of the house that I wasn't sure how I was going to get rid of without me even having to ask. I will diffidently use Pat again on any upcoming projects I have.

Pat was prompt every single day, if anything he arrived earlier than scheduled and began quietly working. By the time I woke up and went outside he had already prepped the area and had started working. He was very thorough and a master at his craft. Every day he and his partner ( another great guy) cleaned up the area before leaving. He told me exactly when he would return the next day and what he would do next. Honestly, he went above and beyond. He is a man of his word, great at his craft and an all around class act.

Pat's wife returned my inquiry call. She was pleasant and courteous and took a message. Pat returned my call within 24 hours and scheduled a date for an estimate about a week later on a Saturday. However, he called on Wednesday and said he could come out that day (earlier) instead if we were available. We called to accept his bid and he came out on Monday to get started. The job, albeit relatively small, was completed on Tuesday.
I believe all contractors should follow Patrick Hennessey's business model. He is prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional. Nothing is added on. The thing I respected the most was his comment, "Whatever you want. I work for you." Pat was extremely approachable when I asked questions and, I believe, honest with his answers. We asked for two bids for separate walls but our budget could only pay for one at this time. Pat did the job we asked for--no questions asked and there was no pressure to complete the other wall.
When the job was finished, everything was cleaned up. Pat made sure we were satisfied then accepted our payment and thanked us for hiring him. Our experiences with other contractors do not even come close to our work with Pat. I can't say enough good things about this experience and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Pat Hennessey and crew came to remove a wall and brick barbecue and do some repair work to several other small walls in the front and back of my property on Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13. He and his crew did a fantastic job. They shored up a retaining wall that was cracked, cut back a Yucca plant and restored the brick border underneath it that was cracked and restored several portions of a crumbling brick border in my front yard. They removed all the debris including a large amount of debris from Abric barbecue. They also removed and oven and The gas line to the outdoor barbecue. High quality workmanship, make that craftsmanship. Very satisfied.

Initially I had a vision of what I wanted but I didn't do a great job of articulating it to Pat. As a result, he and Rosey built a lovely brick planter and brick pathway( that he threw in as a bonus at no extra charge) but the finished planter was too low to be seen from the street and I wasn't happy. I waited a few days to contact Pat because I was too embarrassed to ask him to fix it. Finally, I called and explained the situation to Betsey (his rock star of a wife and awesome business partner) who immediately had Pat call me back. He immediately offered to come back and build the planter higher. He and Rosey returned a couple days later and knocked it out and it looks AMAZING!! It is literally the best residential brick work I've ever seen! I am so proud of the way it turned out - I couldn't be any more pleased. And I can't say enough good things about Papa Pat, Betsey and Rosey - they are beyond professional, their artistry is amazing and they are just so darn nice!!! It was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone in need of the most beautiful masonry and concrete services!! You will not be disappointed!

I could not have been happier with Pat Hennessey Masonry!
I received a quick response to my initial message the same day and all communication was timely from that point on. Pat was consistently responsive to our calls. Pat showed up at our home as scheduled for the estimate and on construction days.
Pat is an experienced professional mason. He was clear on explaining our options for the project. We looked over product brochures on the day of the estimate and were also encouraged to go to the local materials yard to look at brick colors in person so that we would make the best decision for our wall.
My new wall is exactly what I wanted (actually, better than I could have imagined). The craftsmanship is excellent. Pat has high standards and it shows.
In the past, we have worked with many (non- Angie's List) contractors. We have never been as all around satisfied with an experience with a contractor as we have been with Pat Hennessey Masonry. And that is not an exaggeration.

We are actually glad the old wall had a problem, the new wall is stunning, the workmanship unparalleled, and we are ecstatic about the classy new look.
The change in direction didn't slow down the progress at all, they still finished in a timely manner.

Patrick was there first thing in the morning to start work. They deconstructed the corner of the wall, replaced blocks and put in rebar to hold everything together correctly. They restucco'd the entire wall and came back the next day to paint it. They even used the unused material to fix a corner of my house that had the stucco knocked off when the concrete was redone. I'm very, very happy with the work Patrick did and would definitely use his services again.

Pat came by the day after I called and gave me an estimate. Stated that he had a 2 week backlog but thought he could work my job in between other jobs. Came by the following week, started the job and finished the following day.

I called Pat and talked to him right away. He said he was really busy and was going to be starting a large job the next day but said he would call me the following morning. As promised he called the following morning and was able to come over within the hour. After explaining to Pat that I was told several years ago by another person that he felt my chimney was in need of some extensive repair and that it was going to cost over $7000.00 to fix. Pat then inspected the fireplace and told me that there was nothing wrong with the fireplace or chimney and it was in good repair and just needed to be cleaned and a little bit of tender care. I offered to pay Pat for his services, but he refused.
