I called on Monday and left a message, as requested (this is a second business for the owner). Janice called back that evening as promised, and arrived the following afternoon, also as promised. She crawled under the house to inspect (a difficult and dirty task) to see where the animal(s) might be staying, determined that it proably was one or more possums, and set two traps near the opening. One possum was caught that night, and she collected it the following afternoon. The other trap stayed up through the end of the week without any more animals trapped, so I took it in for the weekend per Janice's instructions (she does not pick up on weekends). When no animal was caught on Sunday night, I called to have the empty trap picked up, which was done on Tuesday. At the time of this writing Janice charges $195 for the consulation and first pickup, and $85 for each pickup after that. Janice and her husband are pleasant and thoroughly professional, and although their price does not include repairs to close up openings, she showed me what could be closed up better, and her fee is very reasonable. Some companies charge more than I paid as a minimum fee, with overall costs much higher. If you can do your own repairs, Mr Trapp is the way to go.
Description of Work: Under-house inspection to determine the type of animals and whether entry into the house from there was possible, setting two traps, taking away one live possum that was caught. Also walked around the house with me, showing me where other animals might get in. As far as I know she does not perform repairs to close off access points, but she does not advertise that and charges far less than other trapping services.
