Highly recommend.

Every person on the hospital staff is truly outstanding.  The veterinarians are superb and each vet tech is fully qualified and provides the same level of expert, compassionate care.  They go to great lengths to make each pet as comfortable as possible.  They have endless patience with difficult animals and take the extra time needed to work with them.  In 60 years of caring for beloved pets, I have never found an office to compare with this one.  They treat each pet as though it were their own.  On a scale of one to ten, they deserve a twelve.  This level of excellence is almost impossible to find.  I would recommend them in the very highest terms.

After living 12 years on the Central Coast and finding one amazing veterinarian who makes house calls that I still use, I also needed a great veterinary hospital in the South County. We have 7 rescue cats on a ranch, and I make alot of appointments. I've had some bad experiences with other vets, and was referred here by several people, including our 'house call' vet. I'm glad I listened! From the front desk to the veterinarian exams, the Staff at Nipomo Dog and Cat are caring, considerate, and professional. They have experience and heart, which I found can be rare in this area. They've worked on 3 of our 7 rescues, two of which required surgeries for 'mystery' problems, one of these required multiple surgeries. I've used mostly Dr. Wagner and Dr. Stamp, both of whom I highly trust. They are sensitive to cost issues, and give 125% to provide quality care at affordable prices. They always answer my (many) questions, and have our pets' best interests at heart. I probably sound like a 'groupie', but seriously - after 12 years of searching for a vet with all these qualities - I found a whole office of them - I'm sold! (But I still love my 'house call vet, too)
On an aside, Nipomo Dog and Cat also donates their time and funding to their non-profit and quot;Animals in Need Fundand quot; that provides fostering and medical treatment to local needy animals - could it get any better?

They are extremely good for maintenance as well as emergencies. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and confident. It seems like everybody who comes in including the dogs enjoy being there. That's a big one. When you have to drag your dog into the vets that's not good. In compared with a lot of other places they are right in line or a little less.
