We hadn't used the furnace, which is 30 years old, for a long time. Turned it on when it got cold in Nipomo. Nothing. I bought a new thermostat. Nothing. Called a different company. Expensive, and not a lot of help. Called John, he came over after a full work day, found something wrong in the furnace, fixed it in minutes. Gave us an estimate for a new unit. We should see him back within the next week for further work. His daughter works with him, and she is just as smart as Dad. Great pair. I recommend them highly.

Our 17-year-old furnace was making a new, slight noise when it came on. After he had been working all day, John came by our home very late that night, checked it out, said it was a normal sound for an aging furnace, and gave us "a clean bill of health"; he greatly relieved our minds. We could tell that he had made this extra effort to help us because he had been sincerely worried that we would be without heat on that fridgid cold night - and he had never met us before! I am a nurse, and I so appreciate people like John because they make the world such a better place. We will definitely be using him, in the future, when the furnace will, inevitably, need work.

We have a Bryant-brand furnace and the closest manufacturer-authorized repair service is in Ventura. Home Advisor advertises Bryant furnace repair, and within an hour, they had connected me with John, who called to offer his services. Even before he came over to look at our furnace, John listened to what had happened and was able to analyze the most likely cause over the phone. John and his crew repaired our furnace in a very decent time frame, that included an initial visit to assess the problem and a return visit after obtaining the necessary parts, to repair the furnace. John provided an estimate of his charges and after the furnace was working again, his charges were exactly what he estimated. John is very knowledgeable about furnaces and was further able to tell us what to expect from ours in the future, based on the work he did. He is a very nice man, who is honest, very experienced and very considerate of his customers. We will certainly be calling John for our future furnace service needs!
