I called the listed number in the early afternoon, and Sylvia forwarded a message to Saul, who returned my call about an hour later.  He made an appointment for later in the day after he finished the job he was on, and he arrived approximately when expected.  After checking out the problem (and confirming what I knew the problem to be), Saul quoted me a price (not an estimate), and made an appointment for the next afternoon. The next day, he arrived about an hour late, but he had warned me that he had another job to finish before hand, and the appointment time was only a guestimate.

Saul spent about 2.5 hours on the job, and worked carefully and professionally.  Since the valves were in-ground, he added ground cloth and a gravel bed (which had not been used for the original installation) so I would have easier access to the valves.  He also showed my how to remove and clean a filter he had added to the valve for the drip line.

When finished, he checked for leaks and tested the system.  Since there appeared to be a leak later in the system, Saul checked and found a pop-up sprinkler was hung-up on a root, causing the water to pool.  He cut back the root and cleared the pop-up, then made sure it worked properly.  When everything appeared to be functioning properly, he watered the disturbed sod where he had been working, and made sure I knew to soak that area every day for about a week.  He cleaned the area carefully before leaving.

The next time I need sprinkler work done, I certainly will call Saul.

The owner had been coming weekly to take care of my yard which is small and has several rose bushes. He put rose care on the roses, but last year did it incorrectly and I had to call a master Gardner. Then about a month ago his 16 year old nephew shows up He said that Saul had taken on a large job and could not take care of my yard. The young man was very polite but knew absolutely nothing about taking care of my yard. He was here a few minutes and left. He came back the next dayI called Saul and told him he should not send out an untrained 16 year old to take care of my yard. I. paid CCG to design and plant a rose garden. He failed to put the roses in gopher cages and as a result all of the roses have now died I never knew when he would show up, and he was difficult to contact

They are my new lawn service providers and they are great. I get a monthly bill. They are very, very responsive and they take responsibility for everything. It has only been a month or two but it has really been good. My old people charged me extra for potting, re-potting, and things like that but these people have not charged anything extra, so I am really happy with their responsiveness.

He is an excellent gardener, the best one I have found, and I have been through a number of them. He is very dependable, very conscientious. He seems to keep his staff pretty well; a lot of them have turnover. He is available if you call him; suppose you have a broken sprinkler on the weekend, you call him and he will come out and take care of it. His prices are reasonable. He is very good.
