The TechRoom representative diagnosed the problem immediately - an issue with the battery expanding due to overheating - and helped me fix the problem. He did not charge me for the service even though I tried really hard to pay him. I have used the TechRoom once before to recover my lost photos (horror!) and they recovered all my files. I am forever grateful and so happy I did not have to schlep to the Apple Store and wait forever to be charged a fortune for my out of warrantee laptop. I cannot recommend the TechRoom highly enough. It is worth the effort trying to find them just off Bristol.
