Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $199 for a Painter for a Day. They came out and painted my front door. It was great work.

Description of Work: I have a 30,000 sq ft warehouse building in L.A. First it gets so hot inside it becomes very uncomfortable for the people working inside. I had estimates for replacement that almost gave me a heart attack. George was able to install a cool roof system for about 50% less then people bid me for a new roof and it looks amazing and makes it cooler inside. So far so good. It's supposed to last at least 10 years. I hope it does but I guess time will tell. I have used him for other properties I own and manage and have had no problems so I would recommend his services.

Description of Work: I mistakenly thought George's Roofing would repair my gutters as they are part of the roof. He said they do not repair gutters. He did say that my house does not need them. He did go up on the tile roof and look around and told me it is in good shape and not let any roofers tell me otherwise. I was happy to hear this. Overall, I was pleased to hear this and happy with them. Thank you.

Description of Work: Just got off the phone with a representative from George Park Roofing and Painting. He was incredibly helpful and forthright on his recommendations for replacing and painting my external shutters. It is refreshing to come across a company with this level of integrity of work and professional philosophy.

Description of Work: I just contacted this company to inquire whether they provide service to my location. The person who answered the phone, states that he is the owner's son, asked for my address, and then said that they DO provide service to my city which is in LA county. LA county is also listed as a service location on their main Angie's List page. I then let the person know that I was going to be using their "Big Deal" Angies list coupon ($199 for 7 hours of painting) for some interior painting work. The person then told me that they would not be honoring that coupon for my location. He stated that Angie's list did not fully explain the "expenses" involved with these coupon's to their business. He was polite and suggested I find another company located closer to my home. I suggested he change their service location. He said they will service my area for "complete jobs". This is incredibly short-sited for this company to have this policy as my small job with the coupon could have turned in to a full 2500 square foot interior paint job as well as needed exterior stucco painting if the quality and service provided through the use of this coupon were good. My message is "buyer beware" for this company, do your homework and Angie's List will need to investigate whether this company should be allowed to continue to offer this special without further disclaimers attached. My message for the company is think big picture!
