George Parks Roofing fit me in their schedule very quickly, and was able to finish the job in a timely manner. I especially appreciated Chris in the office, who was very good at keeping me apprised of what was going on. After they finished, they hauled all the debris away, cleaned up the area around my house. I was especially impressed that they went around the house with a magnet so that they could pick up any tacks or nails that had dropped off the roof during the job. I have a dog, so that meant a lot to me.

Very well. Both George and Chris Parks were responsive to our requests for changes and/or corrections.

Time sensitive and responsive and went pretty much without a hitch I was very ambivalent because I just replaced the roof less than 2 years ago with another roofer but he was not helpful in finding the leaks which resulted in continuing water damage from on going rains. Turns out the previous roofer dos not use to code materials and had just added another layer of roof onto one or in some cases 3 layers already there. George removed the previous layers and inspected the plywood and refunded me most of the money he expected he would need in plywood when most of the wood turned out to be okay Georges crew worked in a timely manner to get the job done alongside my AC person to move my platform and roof around the area. He added flashings around it and the fireplace which hadn't been done before. Waiting for next rain w less dread and more hope and don't anticipate a problem.

Mr. Parks provided a competitive, effective service. We had multiple roof leaks and the roof treatment eliminated all of them. His service was responsive and timely.

I called George Parks Roofing and Painting in the early morning, after I noticed a water spot on the ceiling in our home. There was so much rain the night before and another storm on the way. Chris had his roofing staff come by after they finished a job close to my home. They checked the roof, noticed where the leak was coming from and asked if I would like them to fix it now before the next rain arrives. They fixed the leak right away. They were very professional and did a great job.

The work was completed in about 6 1/2 days. The crew was headed by Alberto who is very knowledgeable. The entire crew did a great job and no mess was left behind. I highly recommend them.

George kept in close contact with me mostly by phone and text to keep me up to date with progress. He was here while the work was going on. His crew was professional and efficient. We had one incident where the big truck slightly damaged my carport door. George took immediate responsibility and paid to have the damage corrected. This was not a problem at all. They did roofing around two skylights and carefully sealed everything. Because we had major rains between work days I was able to see immediately that I had no leaks. I'm pleased. I found them through Angie's list and am happy to add my name to their list of satisfied customers.

George came to our house on a Saturday, an hour or two after having serious dental work (including a wisdom tooth extraction). Despite being in obvious pain, he was thorough and professional. He explained our options and answered all of our questions. Rain was in the forecast, so we needed the work done quickly. George and two members of his team came two days later and fixed everything in several hours. The rain arrived three days after that and nothing leaked.

Our last exterior house painting job lasted nearly 20 years because the man who did the project was meticulous with the preparation steps, primed everything and used high quality paint. We lost track of him so were concerned if we could find another source of quality in this day and age. We resorted to contacting Angie's List to submit our project request. We were very fortunate to be referred to George Parks Roofing and Painting, that coincidentally was founded the same year our house was built, 1976! I was very pleased to accept an all-inclusive contract that stipulated extensive preparation work, wood replacement wherever necessary, prime coating all before applying two coats of Sherwin-Williams paint that claimed a lifetime warranty. The work began just 2 days after signing the agreement and was completed in the span of just 3 days. Our prior paint job took a single painter 3 weeks to finish, but the George Parks crew consisted of 8 men which included painters and carpenters. The entire neighborhood is in awe of the end result, as is my entire family. This work is truly as good as it gets!

It was a large job with steep inclines. Very professional crew. Family-run business and the owners came to check on the job every day. Great communication. They also did a lot of extra repairs and did not charge me for them. No "nickel & diming" which I really appreciate in a service provider. I received several bids and their price was very fair (in the middle). My only issue was I wish they were more thorough with the final clean-up. not horrible but could have been better. Having said that, I am very happy with job they did and I absolutely recommend them.

Fantastic! - These guys are true professionals, Chris is smart, a gentleman and he worked with me - He was flexible with schedule and helpful in some of the decisions I had to make regarding roofing. The crew was always prompt, polite and clean - Replacing a roof is a very messy job - these guys left the job site spic and span every day. I grew up in the construction trade and I haven't seen an out this professional since my dad's construction business many years ago.

To get a higher grade they could have paid more attention to detail.

living near the beach my windows were in poor shape and I was concerned that I would have to replace several of them. I got quotes from several window contractors - Anderson, home depot and others. I was shocked. I tried to look at other options but was intimidated at the work that would be required to find a reputable contractor. instead of succumbing, I joined angies list and found George. he provided a very reasonable estimate with detailed explanations of all the work required. he was so thorough that I included a complete painting of the house. he provided an excellent carpenter that was a window expert who handled the most difficult elements of the job including replacing any window casing, gear boxes, and even the weather stripping where necessary and he went the extra mile to make sure that every aspect of the house was ready for painting. he was amazing! george recommended 3 coats of special paint for my location and helped with color selection. he provided a large very competent crew and finished the project ahead of his projected schedule. they even asked me to walk the house with them at the end of the job and point out any area that I thought needed additional attention. George or one of his sons visited the site frequently to answer any questions and assure a smooth flow of work. I was so happy with the work that I was sorry George did not have any daughters available to have one of my sons marry to make sure George would always be available for more work at anytime in the future. My house now looks brand new. I will definitely use him again and would give him the highest recommendation.

Chris Parks walked around the house with my husband and I and gave us much needed information about what the process would entail. He was explicit and extremely knowledgeable with suggestions and gave us a detailed contract to look over. I asked him that when the job was started, would his workers stay on the job until complete. He said yes. We were shocked when 6-8 men showed up to start the work a week later. Each person went to work in a specified area and within five days our house looked like new. Either Chris or George showed up on a daily basis to supervise the work. The workers were extremely efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Chris Parks came out to give me an estimate to the exterior of the house. I was not home at that time. The estimate came back reasonable. After comparing with the estimate from the painter we had used previously and reading very good reviews they received from their customers on Angie's list, we decided to go with them. Chris came out on 10/6/15 to meet with us to confirm the price and the work. He explained everything in detail (wash, patch, sand, primer, 2 coats of paints). He e-mail me the proposal. I signed it and e-mail him back. The crew started the work on 10/7/15 (Wed). They arrived a little late and started all the prep work. Chris came to make sure the crew (maybe 4 people) understood what needed to be done and collected 50% payment upfront. He introduced me to Jonathan, the foreman for the job. He was also very courteous whenever I had a question about something. Unfortunately they had to leave a little early the first day at the job due to some emergency. I wished they would communicate that with me. However,everything seemed to have washed and windows and doors were taped up nicely, and I saw some patch work done. For the next few days, the guys came early and worked very hard. They picked up totally 4 sample paints and we finally decided on the colors for my doors and shutters on Friday morning. They brought in one more worker on Saturday trying to finish the job. It was very hot close to 100 the few days they were at their job. I got them lunches and water and they were appreciative. No surprises and we are very satisfy with their work and our experience with the company especially Chris. Thanks.

George responded to my request via email and came over to bid on the job. He gave me a figure without measuring the roof. When compared with other bidders his bid was the highest. I waited for a few weeks before deciding to have the work done. George called a couple of times inquiring if I had made a decision. I finally ask him to come back; that he had received several good reviews on Angie's list, and that I might hire him. He promptly came and measured the roof, confirmed his previous bid, but indicated that there may be other costs. I decided to wait until I returned from vacation before starting the job. We signed a contract that had to be modified because of the number of old layers of roofing that needed to be removed. His crew came on a day that I indicated I would not be here. My wife told him to come back the following day. He brought his crew on the date indicated above and completed the job in 1 day. During the removal of the old roof. Material had fallen into the garage. One of the garage doors was open and when I closed in the following day, it was damaged because of all the gravel deposited on top. The garage was vacuumed, but not well and roof nails have been found on the garage floor. George came to evaluate the damage to the door but indicated that fixing it was not his responsibility. I think the crew probably did an adequate job, but the project was too expensive. Dealing with George was difficult. I would hope he will honor any problems with leaks if such should occur during the rainy season. However, I would not use his service again.

They did a very good job. The best job they did for us was with the house, they did it very nicely. They also painted the fence around the pool.

This was quite some time ago, so I really don't remember much about the details. They showed up on time -- it was a painter and someone from the company -- the painter stayed all day and painted the living room (which is a large room with high ceilings). The price was fine, the work was fine, and the painter was nice.

I found them on Angie's List. They do painting too. They were fast, and they did a great job. They did a great job cleaning up and they were great.

The service went pretty good. They did the work very quickly, in about 4 days. Overall George Parks did a good job and even replaced some wood and primed it for me for no additional cost .

They really did a good job. There were about 5 or 6 workers on average. They cleaned everything up and were very prompt.

They have a friendly staff. Scheduling an appointment was good. There was one person here doing the work.

I decided not to use George Parks Roofing because I got a better price elsewhere and I also felt more comfortable with another company's representative than I did with the man from George Parks.

I would hire them again. They were on time, came the days they were going to come. They worked diligently on many doors and did a great job painting them.
