"That's simply not true. The customer requested they wanted to use a credit card for payment so we obliged after we proceeded to process the credit card she then changed her mind and decided she wanted to use a check. We imeaditly had to contact the credit card company and submit a refund request which was then procesed by the credit company. This customer is leading other Angie's List members to believe that she paid 2x or that some sort of fraud had taken place and that's the furthest thing from the truth. We have been in business for over 40 years and our reputation is reflected in our A rating with Angie's List and numerous positive reviews As for the painters they protected the entire area as they painted and it's a 20 min drive to the nearest Sherwin Williams paint store in Torrence each [Member Information Removed]. They had to get the paint color matched for the interior touch up. So that proves that they left and returned with the paint very quickly I am very sorry if there's something that the customer was not happy with I sincerely try my best to make every customer 100% happy Best Regards George Parks"

Chris is smart, a gentleman and he worked with me - He was flexible with schedule and helpful in some of the decisions I had to make regarding roofing.
The crew was always prompt, polite and clean - Replacing a roof is a very messy job - these guys left the job site spic and span every day.
I grew up in the construction trade and I haven't seen an out this professional since my dad's construction business many years ago.

living near the beach my windows were in poor shape and I was concerned that I would have to replace several of them. I got quotes from several window contractors - Anderson, home depot and others. I was shocked. I tried to look at other options but was intimidated at the work that would be required to find a reputable contractor. instead of succumbing, I joined angies list and found George. he provided a very reasonable estimate with detailed explanations of all the work required. he was so thorough that I included a complete painting of the house. he provided an excellent carpenter that was a window expert who handled the most difficult elements of the job including replacing any window casing, gear boxes, and even the weather stripping where necessary and he went the extra mile to make sure that every aspect of the house was ready for painting. he was amazing!
george recommended 3 coats of special paint for my location and helped with color selection. he provided a large very competent crew and finished the project ahead of his projected schedule. they even asked me to walk the house with them at the end of the job and point out any area that I thought needed additional attention.
George or one of his sons visited the site frequently to answer any questions and assure a smooth flow of work. I was so happy with the work that I was sorry George did not have any daughters available to have one of my sons marry to make sure George would always be available for more work at anytime in the future. My house now looks brand new. I will definitely use him again and would give him the highest recommendation.

"I don't feel this is accurate. I explained to the customer that the coupon in question was not applicable to his project because of the extensive wood repairs that needed to be fixed. We did include a 15% discount on this particular project. Once the job was completed he wanted to use more coupons. I would like to add his house turned out so nice his next door neighbor hired us to paint all the exterior of her home also Best regards"
Chris Parks came out to give me an estimate to the exterior of the house. I was not home at that time. The estimate came back reasonable. After comparing with the estimate from the painter we had used previously and reading very good reviews they received from their customers on Angie's list, we decided to go with them. Chris came out on 10/6/15 to meet with us to confirm the price and the work. He explained everything in detail (wash, patch, sand, primer, 2 coats of paints). He e-mail me the proposal. I signed it and e-mail him back. The crew started the work on 10/7/15 (Wed). They arrived a little late and started all the prep work. Chris came to make sure the crew (maybe 4 people) understood what needed to be done and collected 50% payment upfront. He introduced me to Jonathan, the foreman for the job. He was also very courteous whenever I had a question about something. Unfortunately they had to leave a little early the first day at the job due to some emergency. I wished they would communicate that with me. However,everything seemed to have washed and windows and doors were taped up nicely, and I saw some patch work done. For the next few days, the guys came early and worked very hard. They picked up totally 4 sample paints and we finally decided on the colors for my doors and shutters on Friday morning. They brought in one more worker on Saturday trying to finish the job. It was very hot close to 100 the few days they were at their job. I got them lunches and water and they were appreciative. No surprises and we are very satisfy with their work and our experience with the company especially Chris. Thanks.
