I was able to text him a photo of the shower faucet and where it had broken. He arrived at my home with a exact replacement and all of the associated little rubber thingys and equipment (sorry it all looks like magic to me!).  He totally replaced the whole thing and it works better than this shower has since we bought the house! 
I have worked with Steve (the owner) before to run a natural gas line for an outdoor grill, and to reconfigure my kitchen gas oven so that it didn't stick out from the rest of the kitchen cabinets. He has always been great about communicating how long things might take or if he was running a few minutes late. Also, for those of you who text...he will set up appointments, receive photos of your plumbing problem and it really makes everything easier.
