Home Inspection
JLC was suggested by the deck repair guy to look at and try to determine the source of a leak in a house we are planning to buy. They test flooded the deck and prepared an excellent report about issues with the deck and probable sources of the leak that were used by the deck company in estimating the cost of repairing and replacing the deck. Only issue was that I felt like I was being pushed to have them do a mold inspection for an extra fee, which I didn't think was probably necessary. Also, they estimated 2 hours and it was 2.5 (the charge is by the hour). The report was excellent with photos and explanations and although we are in NY and the house is in CA, we felt that we could understand the issues.
